Very happy to have an overnight stay in Travelodge, they are one of the best in budget hotels, staff helpful and parking and facilities are also good.I would happily return to Halkyn Travelodge in the future.
Good location from which to explore/travel into North Wales. A55 corridor runs right by this "commuter" hotel. Fast food outlets not far in either direction. Hotel receptionist Ellie was all smiles and very welcoming. Even busy checking on litter bins and cleanliness of hotel frontage on our arrival that gave us the impression this employee cares about her workplace & it's reflection. Good stuff.
As the title suggests, this was an excellent room, larger than most, spotlessly clean - as was the bathroom, with an excellent shower. Staff on the desk at check in and check out were helpful, polite and friendly. Great location as it took the boring chunk out of the journey to North Wales, leaving time for a leisurely and scenic drive the rest of the way in the morning,
Very bed bathroom cleaning and furniture.Box meal not so attractive.Furniture very old.No fridge. No hairdryer. The bathroom door doggy. No recommended for family trips.Exterior of the hotel looks scary.
We had a great stay at this hotel offers a beautiful view at night and above all , friendly , warm and welcoming staff. Gill and Elle were fantastic. Very helpful and customer service driven. Thank you so much for you help, appreciate it
Extremely good value, fabulous staff and service, nothing was too much trouble, wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. As an added bonus the view from the hotel across the Cheshire plain is superb.
Stay here fairly regularly for business. Always a warm welcome from staff and spotlessly clean. Have stayed in Travelodge's nearby on the coast, and Halkyn wins the cleanliness and peacefulness stakes hands down. OK so not much to do surrounding the hotel. This isn't an issue for us
Another lovely stay at Halkyn Travelodge over the New Year weekend. Our room was warm and cosy and very quiet. It’s obvious that the staff here enjoy their jobs, they are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, see you in the summer!
Friendly staff, warm and welcoming, decent rooms and has what you need apart from 1 or 2 things. Location was decent. Nice bathroom. Overall a good stay, I will use againin the future. Thank you very much.
One night stay, arrived late and left early so wasn't looking for 5 star. For £60 it was ok. Points for improvement, didn't know Typhoo teabags were still around, but apparently they are. Room smelt musty. There is a vending machine in the foyer that works fine, however the cost of a bottle of water at £2.40 is a bit silly. Staff were really friendly from what experience I had with them.
