What has happened to this hotel. No answer to phone calls, no answer to e-mails. Who ever owns this place owes money back to a lot of people. I booked this Hotel over a year ago through Travel Zoo £89 for 2 nights b/b and have never seen my money or holiday since. Do not book this Hotel you will loose your money.

We had our wedding booked here and alot of guests who had booked rooms. Wedding was moved from 2020 due to pandemic and rearranged for 2021. The owner is a conman and deliberately and often changes the company name and directors. The people he employees are known criminals mostly theft and fraud. This has affected hundreds of couples who have saved the hard earned money for their big day only to have it taken away from them from these robbers.

Had an afternoon tea booked for last year. Due to pandemic hotel shut and told closed for refurb. Everytime tried to contact over last six months rarely got through and no replies to emails. Suppose we should of smelt a rat before Xmas 2020? Only found out this week hotel is shut so looks like we've lost money?

We booked and paid for a stay in May 2020 (birthday weekend). We rang ahead of setting off to double check they were open. After many attempts to contact them by email/phone I finally got through to them only to be told that they were closed until March 2021 for refurbishment. I was totally disgusted as we could have set off on the long journey as were not contacted about this. We rebooked for end of May 2021. I rang many times and emailed them to check all was okay before we travelled. I finally spoke to a lady on reception 2 weeks ago who said the hotel was closed. I asked if we should then move our booking (again!) and was informed that it was closing down. I asked how and when I would get a refund and was told she didn't know...she then hung up!!!! I am livid. There is nothing on their website to indicate they are closing down. We couldn't find anywhere else to stay due to it being a Bank Holiday weekend so are bitterly disappointed.

Booked a deal via Travelzoo in March and due to stay in May. Obviously due to lockdown this was unable to take place. Contacted the hotel and rearranged for September. No further communication from the hotel but as I could see on Trip Advisor there had been no reviews since lockdown I felt it may be better if I contacted them to check everything was okay. I did this a month ago. I was told unfortunately the hotel hadn't reopened yet and they had been informed that week that it wasn't reopening yet and was to be 'refurbished' but they hadn't let anyone know and were in the process of doing this. I was told that I would receive a refund. I have emailed three times since and telephoned a further four times and still not received a refund. Extremely poor service and I am concerned that my £89 is still with them and they are not responding to my emails.

Early treat for Mother's day with my Mum. Both loved the afternoon tea and the tea served was tasty too. Definitely would recommend and trip here. Hotel and grounds beautiful. Ideal place to visit in spring and summer to fully enjoy grounds.

When arriving at Northop hotel, myself an my husband were pleasently surprised. Beautiful inside an out. We were given a free upgrade to a much bigger room, due to it being my birthday. Very clean and tidy hotel, with exceptional friendly staff, who if asked will cater for anything you desire. Food wise, it was amazing, both nights and each money. We will most definitely be back again, as soon as you walk through the door, you are greeted and made to feel so at home and welcome. Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend to all the staff.

Afternoon tea. Very disappointed. Sandwiches and tea fine but unfortunately cakes were dry as a bone. We went about a year ago and it was wonderful, proper home made cakes and lovely fresh scones. Has really put me off going back now.

Where do I start! Firstly, the reason for me staying at the hotel was due to recently getting a job in the area and before getting a place of my own, I needed to trial the new job and area which the hotel managed to make possible for my 3 week stay. Being new to the area and having nothing but clothes and my job it was tuff for me settle and deal with such a huge change, but every staff member at the hotel made me feel so welcome and at home that it made my situation so more easier and better and without them I don’t think I would of stuck around. James especially on reception who always welcome me when coming through the doors either day or night, to Chloe, Becky and Ellen who offered a great service at the bar and always made sure I had a drink. I now have moved into my own place in the area and I want to thank every single member at the hotel as this is down to them and making me feel so welcome to a new area and made things so much more easier. Thank you all and I wish you all the best. Ill see you soon, hopefully! ☺️

A lovely hotel, out of the way and quiet when we visited recently for a few nights just to get away. The decor is slightly dated and the superior room was not quite as we had expected, but everything was very clean and very comfortable. What made it for us was some excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. A little pricey but we did get a good deal on the room. Recommend this hotel for a few nights away and a base to explore N Wales.
