Had dinner here last week and from the moment we stepped into the restaurant we knew it would be good. Can honestly say service and food was excellent and if we are in the area again, will certainly return.

Last weekend we stayed in Y Meirionnydd with friends. The main purpose of our trip was to climb Snowdon. The owners and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast, dinner and packed lunch were excellent. We would highly recommend the Y Meirionnydd to friends and family.

We've just stayed the night at this hotel based on the fact of wanting to climb cader idris. Lovely hotel. Beautiful rooms. We stayed in the Mawddach room which is absolutely lovely. Bed very comfy. Bathroom spotless. We also ate at the restaurant. I can personally recommend the lamb, it was amazing. Beautifully cooked. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here a couple of nights at beginning of April. We took the room at the rear downstairs and took the option offered of having it made into a double. Although lovely and clean we did find it a bit cramped on space with only two overnight bags. Shower room was excellent and very clean with "walk in " shower...

Hello Llanwitgirl, thank you for taking time to write a review. Considering that you seem to have enjoyed the service, the dinner, the breakfast, the bed, the cleanliness and the shower it seems quite harsh that you only graded us three stars, 'Average' in Trip Advisor ratings. Arran is one of our smaller rooms but as it's on the ground...

We stayed just one night but it was delightful. A comfortable and quite room with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams and smallish but more than adequate ensuite. We had dinner in the basement bistro which has great atmosphere although at 6'3 I had to keep my head down when standing up but the food was great and really well presented....
