What a wonderful magical place to stay. We have stayed in the hotel before on two occasions which is very nice, but this time we stayed in the castle and found the rooms much more comfortable very spacious ,all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had afternoon tea in the hotel by the beach and all other meals...

We visited Castell Deudraeth for lunch but did not stay at the hotel. The set menu price is excellent and the food is great, lunch includes free entry to Portmeirion Village which is a great offer. We enjoyed our visit very much, setting and hotel lovely.

Couldn't work out where to review the Portmeirion Hotel which is situated at the bottom of the village next to the estuary. We stayed for one evening on a DB&B basis in the beautiful Peacock Suite and had a wonderful time. The room was huge with a lovely lounge, large bathroom and stunning bedroom with 4 poster! From the bed...

My partner and I stayed at Castell Deudraeth for three nights during a short holiday in North Wales. Being our first "proper" holiday for a while we decided to splash out a little. The castle has an early 20th century period feel about it - appropriate given that this was the time during which Portmeirion Village was being created. It...

We have been coming to this area for many years and would usually stay here, however this time we just came for a meal. We started off with a lovely bottle of cava on the patio overlooking the beautiful garden. We then retreated into the bright and airy restaurant for our first class meal. We all had fish and chips...

A special couple of days for our 30th Anniversary and we chose to stay in the Castell rather than the hotel for the size of the rooms and it didn't disappoint. Staying in Castle 1, the room was big, bright and overlooked the walled garden and even in the rain looked amazing. It had a min kitchenette hidden behind double...

Went to a friends wedding at castell Deudraeth and this place really has the wow factor. Outside it is amazing walking through the doors you are greeted with an open log fire even in July this was welcoming after coming in from a damp summers day. Staff very attentive and wanting to help out. The 'bedroom' (term loosely used!) was...
