This hotel was in a beautiful position with amazing views! The staff were helpful and friendly and we had our breakfast and evening meal there which was really lovely.. our only negative comment is there is not a lot nearby( walking distance) but you can travel by car to busier places if you wish.. we quite enjoyed a peaceful few days 😊
The wife and I stopped ere in September for a few nights, so. we could roam the island, the couple that run this place were great as were the staff. we ate in every night as there is not much in the area and the food choice and quality was great. Breakfast was easy too order the previous night and the hotel was very clean. Two minor faults, car part has no marking and they prefer you to. park around the edge and limited seating if you only want a drink and a chat. Plenty of seating for food and drink variety at a reasonable price. will go again big bonus NO CHILDREN
Called here for a meal on our stay in almwch drove past a couple of times it looked really nice with great views . It was very quiet so we got a window table with stunning views . The food was really gd i had gammon which was so tasty , my partner had scampi which was really gd too . A really nice bar meal everything was perfect the side order of onion rings where some of the best i've had . Great food with lovely sea views .
Lovely family run hotel Clean tidy Excellent staff in all areas Lovely tray of teas coffee an biscuits Bathroom & Bedroom nicely decorated They gave us a sea view room as well which made our weekend perfect to chill & watch the stormy waves Breakfast was amazing just right & the waiter was funny - just what we needed in the mornings We will be back Thank you Trecastle - just what the Dr ordered literally
We stayed for one night whilst on a short break to North Wales. The hotel was quite tired and we had a room on the top floor climbing up 2 flights of stairs (no lift). Room was small and felt a little grubby, the bed valance was marked. The bathroom had some black mould on the tiles and the floor wasn't overly clean. The view of the sea from the window was lovely. Breakfast was OK.
On holiday very close by and Trecastell was recommended as a dog friendly place to eat out. I'd heartily agree. All 8 of us had a wonderful meal out. Yummy, freshly cooked food. Desserts were especially delicious. Bar had a fantastic array of drinks on offer. It was rather a pity that we drove there! The staff were lovely and helpful. Beautiful views out over Bull Bay. It was busy all the time and it was easy to see why.
We Just popped in here for a pint when walking past . Staff were very pleasant ,filling up our water bottles for us .Looking at the food served and the service,we would not hesitate to eat here! Going in to order drinks , it looks a lovely place to stay and The view is amazing too !
We asked for a sea view, we got a sea view! very pleasant welcome from friendly staff, nice room, lovely view, very good evening meal, and overall a pretty location, not far from either the main road onto Anglesey, or Holyhead the other way. Mild criticisms, perhaps a bit harsh but very set times for breakfast seems a bit old school B&B but thats about it. not cheap but certainly more hotel than guest house / B&B.
Catered my daughter and son in laws wedding. Food was great, served hot and fast. All food was pre ordered and all meals arrived correctly. Function room was great. Absolutely no issues. thank you for making the meal go smoothly with tasty food. Staff were awesome
We always enjoy our visits to the Hotel sitting outside overlooking the bay watching for porpoise & dolphins 😀They serve delicious beer & wine. Encountered very friendly staff. Immaculately clean bar area and lawned areas. Will continue to visit.
