I agree with the last review with regard to the fact that the place does need a face lift and if you like modern plain and ordinary then this place is not for you. However if you like character and charm then this place has it in abundance. The staff in the bar were very friendly and the food was...

Stayed here for a long weekend with two other couple and between us our 4 dogs. I have read many of the other reviews and cannot disagree with any of them. This is a quirky 3 star hotel which was once very grand. It was built especially for a visit by Queen Victoria. If you are laid back, open minded...

It's alike faulty towers. Only it's not funny. The bulldog is old and needs a revamp desperately. So does the staff. The radiator in my room wasn't working and the window was badly insulated so there was a lovely Ivey breeze coming through the window. Breakfast was also shocking. At least literally across the road was The Bull that served...

First stay at the Bulkeley despite being a regular visitor to Beaumaris . It won't be the last ! Booked the four poster sea view room . The room had beautiful views of the sea and snow capped Snowdonia . The bed was large and comfortable and the room large warm and homely . The landing and staircase boast of...

We booked a weekend away here through Booking.com and got a good deal on a comfortable seaview room with breakfast, £220 for 2 nights when the usual quoted cost would be much more. The hotel is a little faded but our room was clean, new bathroom, comfy 4 poster bed and the best bit was the stunning view over Snowdonia...

We booked a room after an impromptu decision to stay in Beaumaris on a Saturday night. After looking on laterooms and finding a good price, we booked in with the hotel directly who honored the price we had seen. For £60 we got a reasonable sized double room with a tastefully decorated ensuite bathroom, TV and WiFi. The staff we...

Lovely hotel, excellent dining room, ideal views of the Menai Straits and the pier. Staff quick wine and take order for meal. Soup arrived on time and was excellent. The we waited for the main course at least an hour, it was not good quality vegetables, basically raw, roast potatoes soft and warmed up. meat tasty, but chewy. Sweet selection...

Stayed for new year on a two day package and overall was satisfied with our stay, especially as our dog was allowed, and could go everywhere except the restaurant and bistro. Our room was fine, with a new walk in shower room, which was spotlessly clean. The room looked like it had been partially refurbished with a new carpet, but...

We arrived on the 26th November we had realised it was the Christmas fair which was lovely but very very busy the hotel was understaffed and unprepared the staff did there best but there was just nowhere to relax as a resident which was a real shame as the hotel room was lovely and clean if just wasn't shown in...
