We stayed for 3 nights on a dealmonster/travel zoo offer. As many previous reviewers have stated this is an old building, but bearing this in mind has character and quirkiness compared to many places. We had the "infamous" room 3 that is so talked about on here. It is a bit tight, and the bathroom is about due for a...

We stayed the one night and had dinner in the restaurant. It was an excellent experience. Dinner was a great experience - delicious, well presented and of very good quality. Our room was very nice, spacious, clean and roomy. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice and of very good quality. All in all, an excellent experience which we hope...

We stayed for one wet, windy night. The Hotel was warm, welcoming and very clean. The decor is a bit dated. The food was exceptionally good. There was a good selection, well served and very tasty. I would really recommend eating there. The breakfast was much better than those "help yourself" buffets, which can be like cardboard.

We stayed for two nights in the Bishopsgate Hotel in November during the worst gales and rain for a long time, but we couldn't have been in a better place. Our bedroom was a cosy and comfortable retreat from the awful weather conditions outside. The staff who looked after us were all charming and attentive and the food they served...

Stayed here for one night. We were on the top floor. The room was clean if a little dated. The television did not work and even though I phoned reception to ask if this was a common problem I was told it was due to the wind!!! I know that having a tv is not that important but it was dissapointing as...

We took advantage of a Travelzoo offer and found the hotel to be of excellent value in every way. The staff were excellent, fantastic meals and high quality bedrooms etc. I would certainly recomment the hotel.

I am sorry if the title misleads. We were in Room 3, which as has been said in previous postings, is in the eaves and half the room has a low sloping ceiling. This features effect has been exagerated, though both I and my wife did from time to time bang our heads (she blames me for distracting her whilst...

Very clean with plenty if toiletries too. Beds comfortable too. Nice little lounge and separate bar with seating. Largish dining room. Delicious food with very good choice....

Just returned from a three night Travelzoo offer stay. The food was excellent and could not fault it - very friendly waiting on staff. If you are on a Travelzoo offer think you get the lower end of the accommodation. We had room 3 which was on the top floor and whilst we appreciate it is in the eaves we...

We were delighted you enjoyed your 3 night stay at the hotel and chose to dine with us each evening. Had we of known during your stay you did not like the features in your room we would have most definitely moved you to another room, that room was chosen because it is the one in the advert you had...
