A great pub with quality food and great service. The venue is superb close to to Menai bridge and also offers great access to the Island of Anglesey. Very competitively priced and would definitely recommend to anyone travelling North Wales.
Stay here. Great modern, clean room. Beautiful food in their newly refurbished resturant. We had the steak and it was excellent, service is friendly and fun and the staff made our trip so special. Situated in a great location, near all the touristy bits yet quiet. A highlight was a 40 string Welsh Choir in the bar....amazing.
We had Sunday lunch here, it was excellent, food hot and plentiful, clean well lasted out. Staff efficient and friendly. We had the 3 roast platter for sharing, excellent value, huge selection of meat and veg. Go hungry if you choose it delicious.
Great all round. EV chargers worked and was able to secure a spot with no problems. Food excellent (big portions). Good value as a package. Some noise from the bar below the bedroom but from 11pm all was quiet. Very comfortable room and helfpul, friendly staff. Will stay again
Spent a 5 night break last summer with friends and whilst there was a lot to recommend it also fell short on many points. Booked two rooms requested that they be as close together as possible and preferably on the first floor due to a knee injury. They couldnt have been further apart, and with so many stairs on the upper floor (where were placed ) I struggled daily. The room was tired and in desperate need of refurbishment, we had staff members traipsing past our window every day( often using foul language) as we were adjacent to the fire escape, and with inadequate window coverings, our privacy was compromised daily. The rooms were certainly not worth what we paid, so I did complain. To their credit someone did call me , and accepted a certain level of responsibility for our poor experience, however offered us a free one night stay as compensation. I live 170 miles away from the hotel so expressed surprise as it seemed absurd and a complete non starter. I was told my comments would be fed back to Central office and they would get back to me , that was July 2022 I'm still waiting One evening we were refused service in the restaurant as we had not booked, however as residents we should not have been refused , the member of staff was surly and unhelpful. Eventually one of our party queried it with another member of staff and they back tracked and agreed that as residents they were duty bound to serve us. On the plus side ,excellent location, good food, if a little overpriced. Staff with a couple of exceptions were pleasant and polite. Decent breakfast, served in a timely manner and plenty of choice. One word of caution whilst there is a large car park , it gets busy in the summer months ,on two evenings during our stay we returned to the hotel with not a parking space to be had, we were forced to wait for approximately 30 mins on both ocassions for someone to move their car and free up a space.…
Absolutely lovely Lovely warm restaurant staff were all lovely and helpful , the food was delicious especially the fillet steak. we didn’t wait long for our food to arrive. Cant fault it will definitely return and recommend to friends and family
Dropped off son at university and decided to stop over. Lovely friendly place. Large bedrooms which were clean and tidy. Breakfast kept us going all day. Restaurant good but would liked a bit more assortment. Device throughout stay wonderful. Would definitely recommend.
Apart from the room mix up on arrival, we had three incidents in three days of our food orders not being what we ordered or as advertised on the menu. On Saturday my soup and partners humous starters came with cold bread. On Monday I ordered Veg Soup and got tomato which came cool and on Tuesday, my partner ordered the fish of the day and got Sea Bass Risotto. Despite these mistakes, the food is normally excellent, the staff normally excellent and the facility is lovely and perfect for us and our little dog. We will definitely be going back
Really nice room for the money, manager was really friendly upgraded from a single to double as one was available, happy to have a bit of banter and was helpful with anything I asked for. Would stay again for sure
A great atmosphere , a great Pub Hotel . Rooms were super for a PubHotel - EXCEPT no Window that could let in fresh air . Opening a fire ezxit just to get air isnt really the best - INVEST and receive 9 and 10 ratings guaranteed !!
