Lovely time, peaceful old style pub with a few seats out the front to enjoy the view. The prices were reasonable, and the food looked nice too though we didn't eat there we plan to go back and try it sometime. Fresh fish was being delivered by a fishmonger which is always a good sign.

I have not stayed in the Gazelle hotel as a guest, but I have visited it on numerous occasions as a diner and to have a drink, overlooking the Menai Straits. The bar staff are usually friendly and helpful. The food comes very quickly (10 minutes) after ordering. The standard of the pub grub is above average and bordering on...

Hotel is grubby both inside and out.....entry to hotel requires attention. Full ashtrays, rusty old heaters and BBQS, open garages and junk and litter everywhere. Inside decor is generally good in bar and dining room but a DEEP CLEAN required to carpets, windows and tables. Whoever does the housekeeping duties needs proper training....towels, hoover etc just left in hallway creating...

I always try visit this place when I'm in Wales, (I've actually never stayed in the hotel but people tell me it's very nice, real boutique). Well you drive through Menai Bridge on Anglesey towards Beaumaris for about 5 minutes, and then you have to keep an eye out for the sign on the right hand side of you when...

Good friendly staff, great food and service, clean n tidy, nice open views and so peaceful. Plus a good selection of beers if required, a great weekend stay with our two grown up daughters who shared a twin sea view. A great chance to get together with everything on hand.

We stayed here for one night. Great welcome and lovely staff. The views are spectacular and the view from our room was of the bay. We didn't eat at the hotel in the evening but did have breakfast which was very good. Vegetarian sausage was tasty. Giving this a four instead of 5 just because of some decoration issues will...

The Gazelle is listed as a 3 star hotel, I personally don't think it is. Bizarrely I enjoyed my stay here and I don't know why. What they tell you on their website is true. The room are spacious, its on the beach, the views are outstanding. I wouldn't say the food was brilliant but it was OK. However......... The...

This hotel is in a fantastic location whatever the weather and our room had the most amazing views in every direction. We stayed for two nights and ate in the Restaurant both nights and could not fault the quality of the food and service. The starter (gamba prawns) was heavenly and our steaks cooked to perfection. The chef was also...

I was quite shocked when I read recent reviews on trip advisor regarding the Gazelle in particular relating to the food. I thought the food was brilliant, I had no reasons to complain, the menus were varying and Chef Aaron would visit to check with diners to ensure their satisfaction and I can say the for the duration of my...

I'm not one as rule for complaining but a bit of advice is needed here - first appearances were great good selection of beer, obviously excellent location, friendly welcome and barmaid - accommodates dogs in the restaurant I can't review the food though - its just never arrived, after waiting 45 minutes we asked the man on reception and were...
