Having recently spend a few days as a guest at the 'Corbett Arms Hotel' in Tywyn, Wales, I found in it a pleasantly comfortable relaxed ambience, which is what I was looking for. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful to relax for a break, I would recommend you pay this establishment a visit if this is the kind of...

I am a local to the area. this place is known as being the place to avoid. If a sunday lunch is what you want there are other places in the area that offer far superior quality and service than this ship wreck of an establishment. Good places to eat in Tywyn are walkers on the highstreet, The white hall...

We stayed overnight, with some trepidation having viewed some of the dire reviews on this site, but we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the decor is a bit dated, but the rooms were a good size, very clean, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Sunday breakfast was what you would expect, and again the staff were very attentive...

We visited this hotel on Saturday 20th August just for a quick lunch. I had to laugh reading the review about the Adams Family, that is exactly what it was like. We ordered three plates of toast and beans, and tea. We waited over 50 minutes for this even although the hotel was empty and when it did come it...

Having stayed in this hotel many years ago i thought it would be a nice bit of nostalgia to come back again. How wrong was I? Never have I seen such a change in an establishment. The staff are rude and dirty, think brundlefly meets skeletor and you'll be halfway there. The whole hotel needs to be demolished. There was...

My family and I were visiting Tywyn, where this hotel is situated. We wanted somewhere to eat and on enquiring on the Wednesday what was available, this woman (the proprietor?) told us there were no meals available that night, and to come back on the Sunday for a lovely Sunday roast - trouble was, we were leaving on the Sunday!...
