The Premier Inn St Davids Hotel comes highly recommended for its spotless accommodations and well-kept facilities, according to guests. Nestled near the heart of St David's, the hotel offers a tranquil setting that many find perfect for unwinding. Its inviting atmosphere is further enhanced by friendly staff and a cozy dining area. While the hotel's amenities, including a commendable breakfast selection and convenient parking, receive positive mentions, some visitors note occasional WiFi and staffing challenges. Despite a few remarks about the cost of food, the overall consensus is that the hotel provides good value, particularly for families taking advantage of the complimentary meals for children.

We had a wedding to attend in St David's and the location of the hotel was great only a 10 minutes walk into the centre. We travelled down quite late and we'd already informed the hotel we wouldn't be there until the early hours which they said was absolutely fine and noted it on the system. On arrival the gentleman on reception was incredibly friendly and welcoming despite it being 2AM! He had sorted our rooms out for us already so all we had to do was type our numberplate in and head to the rooms for some well needed sleep. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The next morning we had the continental breakfast which was great. No hassle that we hadn't pre booked and paid for it there and then. My partner informed the waitress of her gluten intolerance when asked if we had any allergies or intolerances. The waitress was very knowledgeable and re set the table to ensure there had been no cross contamination and provided an allergen menu which was easy to read through. Cooked breakfast was made to order so we had our order taking and a fresh cooked breakfast delivered to the table which was tasty. We didn't plan to eat at the hotel in the evening but due to issues at the place we planned to eat at we went back to the hotel. Staff again were great they booked us in and even though we knew the kitchen closed around 8:30pm we weren't rushed. Again very understanding of my partners gluten intolerance. Food was tasty and had no issues whatsoever. We were served by Megan K who was very friendly and offered great customer service. We opted to go for the meal deal where we could get the 2 course evening meal with a drink and breakfast the next morning for around £24.99 again this was easy and straightforward to sort out. Other restaurant/bar staff that night were Amber, Harvey and Chris who were all great. Breakfast the next morning was again great the only difference was it was self serve on the cooked breakfast but this didn't diminish the quality. Overall we had an excellent stay and I would highly recommend staying here! All the staff were lovely. It's just a shame I didn't catch the name of the gentleman on reception when we arrived or the waitress who served us breakfast on the first morning so we could give them a shout out as well!

We found this Premier Inn by chance whilst looking for a B&B or Guest House in Pembrokeshire after arriving to find a filthy, run down room elsewhere. As it looked fairly new, my hubby said 'let's just book in there if they have vacancies' as it seemed everywhere except a luxury spa (we didn't want anything except a room & bathroom on this occasion) was full. So, whilst preferring small, family run places, I bit the bullet & agreed. I am so glad that I did!
We were greeted on arrival by the duty manager who couldn't have been more genuinely pleasant, helpful or welcoming if he'd tried. He was also a local lad, which was a big plus for me - well done Premier Inn!
When we went to our room, it was lovely & modern with a view of the car park & some fields, which was probably as good as it was going to get being where it's sited but it meant hubby could see his precious car!
There are sockets with USB sockets right next to each bedside table & sockets by the dressing table. There's also a hairdryer. The bathroom was also a good size with a shower over the bath. There were only two pillows on the bed but there were two spare pillows on the shelf that were soooo comfortable.
There was only one bath & one hand towel in the bathroom when we arrived so when we went downstairs to eat - there's actually a restaurant inside this hotel - we asked for some more. Within minutes after arriving back to our room, there was a knock on the door, the manager with 2 more of each towels for us & saying if we wanted anything else to just let him know.
The food in the restaurant was really good value & cooked to order, it wasn't boil in the bag stuff that they put in the microwave. I had a pizza one night & it could have come from my local Italian, it was that good.
There are only two people that let this hotel down & sadly both work in the restaurant. One is a rather plump young lady & the other is a young man who wears specs. The 'service' that they provide is appalling, keeping us waiting 1 ½ hours between courses. In the end, I was so tired that I took my dessert to my room but when I got fed up of asking for the bill so went over to the desk to where he was standing yawning, to pay. He pointed to the card machine & asked if I wanted to leave a tip! As I told him, I would tip at the end of our stay & I did, a generous one which I gave to the breakfast shift. Yes it gets shared between everyone but I wanted them to feel appreciated as they seem to work the hardest & the lady I gave it to said that no one ever tips them 😞.
We would definitely stay here again and would also recommend it to others wanting somewhere quiet but close to beaches & rural Pembrokeshire. It was 98% perfect!

Compliments to the fantastic team at PI, St Davids. We booked into the hotel at the beginning of January, but I became poorly. The staff were amazing, especially Jane. She was so attentive to my needs and ensured I had fresh water throughout the day; asked if we needed anything at all and asked how I was. Due to being poorly we decided to return to the hotel again and was greeted by Tyler, who we now call “Smiler Tyler”, as his customer service skills were infectious and his smile so welcoming. The room we had on both occasions was spotless & fresh towels whenever we wanted them. The food was excellent and we couldn’t fault anything we ordered. The breakfast selection was amazing, both continental and cooked, with poached eggs perfectly cooked to order. On our first visit, supper was brought to the room, due to being poorly and on the next visit we went to restaurant, where we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The service was great and each course arrived at the table hot and inviting. St Davids is a great place to get around, if you’re disabled and from the hotel the pavements and drop down kerbs are great, taking you into the centre.

Highly recommend this hotel in this wonderful city. Such good value for money, clean, welcoming and friendly. We will be back soon.

This was our first stay at Premier Inn St David’s. The hotel is conveniently sited within easy walking distance to the centre of St David’s. Car parking facilities at the hotel are excellent with plenty of room, even though we had a mid week stay. The overall impression of the hotel exterior was that it is well managed and has clean sharp lines. The check in was easy and straightforward, the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was on the second floor, it was spotless throughout and had all the facilities that you would normally find in a modern, well equipped hotel. We had breakfast which was served in a clean, well appointed dining area with a good choice of a cooked breakfast or continental style, we opted for the cooked breakfast that was excellent, could not fault it.

The checkout was easy, again with a very friendly and efficient member of the staff.

Overall, the hotel is well managed and maintained, it is spotless throughout. Our stay was excellent and we will certainly hope to stay at the hotel later in the year when we next visit St David’s.

After seeing the prices of air bnb properties and hotels I didn’t want to spend £400-£600 for a weekend away, seeing the Premier Inn was a 10-15 min walk from the shops and cathedral it was perfect. The room was great, breakfast was spot on and the young lady looking after us at breakfast worked very hard to please everyone and made sure we had everything we needed. She deserves some recognition and a bonus for the Saturday morning as it was very busy. Maybe another staff member would have helped too!

Second time at this Premier Inn and again was a great stay. The hotel is a modern, still quite new hotel and this shows as soon as you arrive. Parking is free, just register your car in arrival, and plenty of spaces too. Rooms were really clean, pretty standard for a Premier Inn but again as it's a new hotel this certainly comes through. Usual amenities inside the rooms. Staff friendly and offer a good customer service.

The fact there is an onsite restaurant and bar is a great addition. We only had breakfast, buffet style, and this was excellent to start the day. The kids eat free made this very good value for money.

Location is always key for us and the location here is excellent, few ways into the centre of St Davids but all within a 15-20 min, easy walk or a few minutes drive.

It's only an hour's or so drive for us so for a quick few days away it is ideal. Highly recommend for a stay in St Davids, a beautiful city with some of the best countryside and coast around.

This looks and feels like a new hotel. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable…. Although it’s a tad odd that there’s a huge mirror right in front of the bathroom door! Literally gave myself a heart attack looking at my own pasty white rolls whilst getting out of the bath much to my fiancées amusement.
A hairdryer is a lovely bonus and so is the bathtub. We came to the hotel just for a night away from the kids, dogs and chaos of daily life and so it was good to lie back and relax in a bath.
The hotel is clean and quiet, you can check in using the self check in computers and so you really don’t have to engage with any humans at all if you don’t want to! To me this is a bonus in a world that can be a bit too peopley sometimes but to others it may feel impersonal.
We used the restaurant in the evening the as on Sunday eve in winter there’s very little available locally. The restaurant was quiet and the waitress was attentive. The food was ok but very expensive for what it was (I think my side of chips consisted of twelve chips)
So we would thoroughly recommend the hotel but would suggest you go somewhere else for food. The local fish and chip shop is amazing by the way, don’t miss out a trip there!!

The hotel is in a great location, just on the edge of St. David’s, there is a small supermarket just down the road. The hotel is new, opened early 2022, so the rooms are of a good standard. Ours had a Bath with a shower over it. Power points both sides of the bed. The restaurant is good, with a menu of burgers, steak, fish and chips etc. which had all been nicely cooked. The only downside of the hotel was the breakfast arrangements. If you want a booth, make sure you request one when booking (you have to book a time slot) otherwise they will not allow you to use one, even though the booths are likely to be unused throughout the entire time you are eating breakfast!! It is obviously beyond the blonde waitress that’s been on duty in the mornings this week to be able to manage allowing someone to have breakfast and then clear the table before the next guest arrives! We have eaten here every morning for the last nine days and on every occasion the restaurant has been very quiet, (we eat early) so it would have been absolutely no problem for us to use a booth, but no, they were apparently booked by the invisible guests!!!! Depending on who you get at the desk when booking your breakfast, you may have to pay up front, as the hotel has apparently had issues with guests having breakfast then leaving without paying. Make sure you ask whether it’s buffet or table service for your cooked breakfast, as that seems to randomly change with the wind. Apart from the issue with ‘booking a booth’, a waitress that if she moved any slower would have stopped (you will see which one I mean !) no sausages for two days (supply problem) and the Coffee machine being out of order for the last four days, the breakfasts are actually very good. Overall the hotel staff have been very pleasant and helpful, the rooms are clean and well presented and the location is great. One last thing, the bar doesn’t open until 6:00pm, the same time as the restaurant. It was only the breakfast issues that dragged my rating down to three stars.

Brand new (1 year old) Premier Inn so everything very clean and modern. Slightly outside of the town, but only a two minute drive or 10 minute walk. Plenty of onsite free parking. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We opted for a Premier Plus room which was very attractively furnished with a wing chair and footstool plus had the advantage of a small fridge, bottled water and two chocolates included as well as the standard tea & coffee making supplies. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and had a great shower. We were on the 2nd floor but there was a much appreciated lift. We had dinner onsite for convenience at the Thyme restaurant. It's not huge and doesn't have a lot of character, but the staff were all very efficient and friendly and the meals of a good quality. We also chose a breakfast deal and this had a decent selection of cooked items, pastries, fruit and yoghurt. A very comfortable stay.

Poor customer service. To pay £110, arrive 30 minutes before 3 pm and find no one at reception to check room availability was well below standard of other hotels.
At 3pm reception personnel arrived to a long queue of frustrated customers. We received just one key for two people when two keys are essential when you have key access to lifts.
When a second was requested having already met the receptionist minutes before I was told it was not the policy!
What has happened to Premier inn's customer relations!
