Detailed Reviews
i booked late for a two night stay to escape the madness and to walk some of the amazing coastline. it was pricey at ÂŁ100 a night in the end but thats my fault for leaving it so late as most prices were by now doubled or gone by the time i booked. the accomodation is clean and basic to be fair but the host or the lady who was mainly there was just so welcoming. its difficult to be welcoming in these weird times when everyone believes that ordering a beer in a pub has to be done on an app, no room service or cleaning in the room due a deathly fear of ordinary life itself and half faced zombies greet you everywhere you set foot in. i didnt escape the madness after all, but the base was perfect for the most incredible scenery matched only by the wonderful local welcome. ill be back in the autumn, hopefully the price will be more reflective of whats on offer.

Lovely clean comfortable room with a lovely view of the country side and far off view of the sea. The people were very friendly and helpful, we were asked a few times if we had everything we wanted. Only 10 minutes walk to st David's town and cathedral . Thank you all

Felt very safe with the Covid procdures in place. Very welcoming on arrival despite being early. Lovely choice at breakfast , breakfast was in three sittings to reduce number of people in restaurant at any one time.

Hotel is brilliant for staying if your looking for a base during a walking holiday if a little pricey at ÂŁ100/night (although that was my fault for leaving it so late to book).. Its website also leaves out the minor detail it is connected to the local petrol station. The hotel itself is someway out of city, although as it advertises there is a pavement into it - a walk of around 1 mile.
The bedroom was small for a double bed, but the was comfortable with a good pressure of shower suppling soap, and shampoo.. Breakfast was excellent offering a range of continental and cooked choices.

Slightly out of St Davids but only a 10 minute walk. Nice room with great views. Staff are very friendly especially at breakfast the chap who I presume is the owner goes around asking all guests if they are ok and gives advice on the area which is a nice touch. Breakfast is really good and plenty of it. It might seem off putting being right next to a petrol station but we found it really handy to buy any snacks or drinks and also filled up with fuel before the rest of our journey. You wouldn't know it was there once you are in your room anyway. Would definitely stay again.

Just had a delicious meal at the Ocean Haze restaurant, next to the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the sambols which were zingy and fresh. We had the coconut sambol and the green chilli sambol along with our meal. A note for vegetarians- the carrot curry really is carrot, not jackfruit. The parathas were excellent. A really great meal.

Had a 2 days stay. Very welcoming and staff were excellent. Room was spotless and breakfast was excellent, the buffet and the cooked breakfasts, full breakfast and the omelette were very good.
Well thought out facilities with a Guest lounge which is a bonus. breakfast room very bright clean and welcoming.
We have one constructive critiism which I think is worth mentioning. We stayed in room 8 and we didn't sleep for the two nights as the walls are so thin the snoring from next door kept us awake and the humming from other guests extractor fans is very loud. on and off all night.
We would definitely stay again.

Very friendly lovely room, breakfast was lovely and plenty of it. The host Paul was brilliant as were his team. Could not fault this place, a short 10 min walk from the centre of St Davids which is a gorgeous little city, and very central to all local attractions. Would strongly recommend this and give it 5 stars.

Great meal at the Sri Lankan restaurant at the Ocean Haze. Such a surprise to find this little gem. A variety on the menu, good service and very good food. The Biriani was fabulous as was the lamb curry with fried rice. Starters were lovely too. Very tasty but not over spiced. We will definitely visit again.

Stayed here for three nights at last minute due to weather. Everything you would want, clean, lots of hot water and excellent breakfast. Paul the owner could not be more helpful. We will return. Paul was very knowledgeable and full of advice, nothing was too much trouble.
