I spent two nights in the company of a customer service orientated team - great rooms, food, reception....all in immaculately managed gardens. It was part of a motorcycle tour - we were made to feel valued and welcome. The facilities, the views and scenery topped it all....take a look at the vista from the balcony and imagine a pint of...

What a perfect place to stay ! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very well kept and very clean, the staff and the service they provide is impeccable, the food was out of this world and thoroughly enjoyed. The receptionists were most helpful and very polite. The view of the Lake is spectacular from the dining area and we...

What a beautiful setting ! Such a nice hotel with spacious bedrooms. But the floors creek a lot, and when the people next door banged their door shut the wall shook and woke us up! Twice! Restaurant very relaxing and excellent food. Brassiere also good food and very pleasant staff.

The hotel is dated, when I say that I don't mean the building as such as I accept the hotel was built in the late 1800s. What I refer to is the atmosphere, the food and staff. I think the hotel is trying to aim too high for the services they offer. The room we stayed in was ok, but...

We had a wonderful time here celebrating our wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect. We were in room 40. Lovely view of the lake, four poster bed, large bath and separate shower. I really enjoyed having the large bath and there was loads of hot water. We ate in the Tower restaurant on our first night. First class dining experience, food...

Went here with family for Sunday lunch, the set menu. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The food was delicious and well presented. The yorkshire puddings were slightly black, so I did leave those, but everything else was lovely. Good value for money and the views from the restaurant and terrace were outstanding. If we are ever back...

We returned from the Hotel 2 weeks ago. Our hotel room, room 3, was gorgeous with a lovely balcony with stunning views. However, we had issues with the staff in the hotel. The issues that we had in the hotel were with the dining staff. At breakfast on 29/04/17 we were ignored by staff for 30 minutes when attempted to...

I travelled on my own and booked for two nights in a premier room with lake view. My bedroom was comfortable and clean and luxurious, with a large four-poster bed. The balcony was great and the view just breath-taking. I ate both nights in the Tavern and was well looked-after by friendly staff. I also used the spa and the...

The staff here were very friendly and welcoming.. however the food wasn't brilliant. We ordered the fish and chips with a side of honey roasted parsnips, the food came within 10-15 minutes. Please find below the negatives regarding this. - the fish in batter was overly greasy like it had literally come straight out the fryer without leaving time for...
