My boyfriends and I visited Gwalia farm for a break away from our busy lives and a proper switch off. This is is exactly what we got. It was heavenly. Unfortunately we arrived a lot later than the arrival time asked due to my work so finding Gwalia in the dark was difficult especially as some of the lanes are...

Found this place on quirky accommodation.com and was blown away! We had hoped for a quiet break in the beautiful welsh countryside and that is certainly what we got! The cabin was above and beyond what we could have hoped for! Where to begin? Arrival- We were greeted by Dee who was friendly and orientated us whilst also helping with...

Relaxing, romantic baby-moon. Can't recommend the cabin on the lake enough, or Dee / Amy as hosts. Everything was so well thought out. We plan to come back once baby is born next year. Hopefully the weather will be a bit better! Thank you once again. Xxxxx

Had an amazing time here.. just wish we had longer. Did the camping on the wild side and loved every minute of it.. even though I've never been camping before I've always had the idea that camping should be in the middle of nowhere with a campfire.. this had everything I imagined real camping to have.. sat around a campfire...

With great reluctance we packed up yesterday and headed home after four perfect days in the Cabin on the Lake. Thank you Amy and Dee for a wonderful welcome: the hot tub was ready to relax in, the candles were lit and the home made ginger biscuits were scrummy. Cabin on the Lake is beautifully appointed with elegance, simplicity and...

We stayed here 1st-4th of April and had a truly wonderful experience at Gwalia Farm. In our opinion, the hot tub is best experienced in the rain. We absolutely loved panning round the lake in the canoe as well. Everything we needed was provided, however I would personally recommend visitors bring the following additionals to make their stay that little...

Wow what an experience if you want to escape the hustle of daily life. We came prepared after reading the essential info on the pages as there's no electricity, wifi or phone reception which is well suited to the experience you have. We where given a lovely warm welcome and overview of how to heat the hot tub etc the...

Loved out little staycation before Christmas we had more than enough wood to keep warm and cosy!! We did have a lot of rain and still loved every second !! We didn't get to use the outside shower as it was way to cold, wasn't as hard as we thought we was!! Would defiantly come back!!

The owners are amazing people. So welcoming and willing to help! They left a lovely package with different types of tea, postcard, love hearts, ginger cookies, mulled wine, marshmallows and a lovely note. The cookies were the best, I went back to Amy and Dee and cheekily asked for more. The cabin was wonderful. It's so quiet and beautiful. The...
