We stopped here at about 3:30pm on a Sunday on our way home from North Wales. It was a relief to find somewhere that was offering food all day, including a roast. We were made very welcome & had a beef and a lamb roast dinner. We had good portions of meat, lovely vegetables & more gravy when we asked...

Our party of three stopped here for a late lunch. We all had the roast dinners, two beef and one chicken. The beef was very tough and the vegetables overcooked. Overall we were dissapointed with our meals. The service was good and friendly.

We had been staying in Liverpool for the first part of our holiday and were looking for somewhere to stop for a coffee on our way to West Wales. We stumbled upon the Penrhos Arms which looked lovely, it was mid-morning so was empty. The friendly staff served our coffee and it was very good. It is a very pleasant...

We were staying in the area while visiting family last week and went to the Penrhos Arms several times in the evening. The pub is located in Cemmaes on the A470, about 7 miles/10-minutes from Machynlleth. There is limited parking in back of the pub, but we never had a problem finding a space. There is also limited on-street parking...

We called in whilst touring in the area. It is an excellent local village pub, with a varied and reasonable priced menu. The friendly staff made you feel really welcome. The food was delicious and we will definitely be calling in again soon.

This is the first time we've stopped here but we will be back. Very friendly staff and the food was good - we're a bit old for the bouncy castle. Various rooms mean that there are quite a few covers available but without feeling close to anybody.

Had read some god reviews and was impressed by the website but it failed to live up to expectations. My starter of pate was served without the chutney, main course came but no cutlery. My partner asked for his steak to be rare but it was verging on well done, I asked for salt as there was none on the...
