Stayed in late August. Think its expensive for what it is. Better value can be found within a few miles. Left my leather boots there and owner binned them even though we had sorted their being picked up. Owner was totally uninterested in helping out....More

Absolutely lovely. A beautiful rambling mansion of a house, with big rooms and comfy furniture. Cheryl, the new owner, is really welcoming and every turn reveals a new delight. A great place for exploring the area (CAT, walking, cycling). Huge windows in the sitting rooms...More
Pulling in to the driveway, you get a good indication of what you are in for. The beautifuly landscaped garden is a throwback to a grander time. We wanted to stay near c.a.t. eco centre which was an easy walk from the guest house.
