    Thank you the kind review. Some people like soft mattresses, other like hard ones. We try to compromise. No, none of the floors in this very old hotel are entirely level - but we are working to do the best we can

    I had the best vegetarian breakfast ever. The veggie sausages were out of this world. The service at breakfast was excellent and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. Giving us helpful hints about train services and times to Shrewsbury .
