Our first visit to this beautiful castle, and I am certain we will be back! We were made to feel very welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was delicious, the bed was so comfortable, and the views were incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk along the coast path from Glandyfi to Aberdovey, the scenery was beautiful. We...

We LOVE this place! We stayed in the Osprey room for our honeymoon and have never been anywhere quite so luxurious... the bed... the jacuzzi bath! The grounds and views are stunning of course, with Red Kites circling over the castle battlements - and on top of it all we were treated like royalty the whole time. In fact, the...

Maureen and Peter are incredibly welcoming and help you feel instantly at home in this beautiful castle. They've managed to get the balance just right with retaining its Castle feel whilst making our stay very comfortable, such as with the underfloor heating in the covered courtyard and very warm rooms with a bed that you sink into. The autumnal views...

I didn't think anything could be better than my last visit to Glandyfi Castle but they have improved by adding a High Tea to corrupt the wasteline. Our room (Starling) was clean, comfortable and with a lovely view over the front garden. Breakfast set us up for a days touring around a beautiful part of Wales. If you haven't been...

I booked the Oasis room as a total suprise for my fiancee for her birthday. I had made up that we were driving to Oswestry for a weekend in a b+b with en-suite shower. The look on her face when we drove up to the castle was a picture. The castle, grounds and the views are stunning. Peter and Maureen...

We have just returned from another wonderful short break at Glandyfi Castle. There were 12 of us in the party, a number of whom had not previously stayed at this very special place. We all had a fantastic time, the food seems to get better and better, and everyone wants to know when we are rebooking! As usual Maureen, Peter,...

My wife and adult daughter visited on our way around the UK. The Castle and accommodations were terrific . The husband and wife team were really personable. I learned a lot of history from them, not only about the surroundings, but also the estuary and history of the town. There are places to visit that include hikes and local pubs....

Glandyfi Castle is ideally located in extensive private grounds with fantastic views over the Dyfi river valley. The building is steeped in history, with parts going back many centuries, but it has now been completely refurbished by the current owners to provide every modern comfort, while still maintaining all its’ historic atmosphere. The welcome from Maureen and Peter was fantastic...
