Homely hotel, run by a lovely lady and her daughter. We have stayed here many times. The location is wonderful for walkers and the food is excellent. It is in a need of a little updating, but then this is made up for by the above. Only other negative is the mattress, which is very firm for me, although husband...

Stayed for 2 nights in this lovely Hotel, our room was a twin and overlooked the front of the hotel. It was very comfortable and had an en-suite bathroom overlooking the gardens, which are quite extensive and beautifully maintained. The restaurant was excellent and there was also a separate vegetarian menu with lots of choice. Food was first class. Breakfast...

We stayed here under the "Winter Escape" dinner, bed and breakfast deal, costing £290 for two nights. We have reviewed the superb restaurant food separately. The owner, Beryl, communicated promptly with us during booking apart from when I emailed the day prior to arrival to confirm the check in time. We chose to arrive after 3pm and was met by...

We had a lovely two night stay in Milebrook. We were extremely well looked after and made to feel very welcome. The room we had was excellent and the food very nice indeed. It was a very relaxing experience and we can thoroughly recommend the hotel. Plenty to see in the area too

Charming, genteel, perfect! Always a pleasure to dine here. I can find nothing to complain about. The hotel is for sale, I hope that who ever buys it keeps up the standard and makes no changes. I wish I could buy it.

I cannot recommend Milebrook highly enough. We had a lovely night, 2 couples in search of a rare child free chance to get away for laughs and a chillax. We booked the summer deal and it was excellent value for money. The house is very old and full of lovely artwork and furniture. We enjoyed croquet on the lawn in...

We stayed for a few days and enjoyed the hotel on the whole. The food was absolutely superb - we couldn't fault it. The downstairs rooms were welcoming - it had the feel of a quiet country house - all very calm and comfortable. The sitting room and bar were pleasant , as was the dining room. Our bedroom was average...

“The rooms were all lovely. We had one on the front and as we live in a very rural location we did hear the road. It didn't stop us getting to sleep but the cars did make us wake up early. I am sure if you live in a city it wouldn't be a problem at all.”

“I should image all rooms would be the same - traditional country themed - high standard”
