Booked twin room but my friend was stuck in Spain so twin room on my own. Hotel lovely but had to ring reception bell to get served at the bar, but staff really nice regardless so no real inconvenience. Room nice but not worth £46 as on ground floor and the room overlooked an ally way leading to the rear so as a lone woman felt unsafe as no blinds or net curtains and as heating on all night, did not feel safe leaving windows open and had to draw curtains to get dressed etc as windows no coverings as previously mentioned. Needed a bedside cabinet between the beds to put cup of tea on etc breakfast not that great. I would however stay again as a lovely hotel as long as got a different room and not alongside a laneway but will not have breakfast again will go next door to the local pub

Not a fan of this hotel, bed was very uncomfortable, curtains didn't fit window so didn't completely shut. Everything had to be ordered by an app including breakfast, couldn't get a coffee without pre ordering on the app. The bar staff were not attentive enough kept going to sit with girl on reception or smoking outside had to keep calling them when you wanted a drink, eventually gave up and went to wetherspoons. The breakfast was well cooked but it's smoked bacon and they don't do eggs it's a cheese omelette instead which I found a bit odd. There was a wedding on The Saturday which we wasn't told about and the noise was ridiculously loud you couldn't sleep. Kerry the receptionist was Lovely, very friendly and helpful but unfortunately we will not be going to this hotel again.

Excellent value for money and very courteous staff on reception. The bed was comfortable but mattress does need replacing. The car park is small and not easy to access but plenty of off street parking nearby.

My wife and i stayed for three nights in September 2021. There was a receptionist Kerry who was extremely good and tried to help and compensate for her failing colleagues. Facilities were basic and our bed was the worst that we have ever had. No draws to put things in, curtains didn't fit the window, bathroom unfinished and there were water issues eg cold tap ran hot, gargling and couldn't turn off shower. Staff were dismissive and when people were waiting at the bar staff were outside smoking and playing on the phone. Cleanliness poor. On our last evening there was a wedding however no consideration was given to other guests with regards to the music. Terrible experience, give it a wide berth.

Had a wedding going on in the hotel which was unbearably loud, could feel vibrations of the music, was woken up multiple times by loud members of the wedding party and other guests. Music was playing until gone midnight. Was not told a wedding was going on until we arrived at the hotel and was too late to cancel or look for elsewhere and all the guest were drunk, rude and uncontrollable standing out the front of the hotel. Requested a pillow and never received it. Asked 3 times. Had the hotel listed as a pay at property, money was removed from my friends account, when she complained, they told her they don’t have that option, when a screen shot was sent to them proving it was, never had a response. Room was a decent size. Bit stingy with the sugar - only 2 sachets of sugar. Just because a wedding is going on in the hotel, doesn’t mean other guests who have paid good money to stay here should get ignored. Very limited parking.
