Helen was a life saver when we ended up with nowhere to stay in Barry . She found us a comfortable room, relaxing atmosphere and great food and wine. We felt so lucky to have found this hotel, and so lucky that it had one room left.

Me and my partner stayed here for the night and we really couldn’t fault it at all. Friendly, welcoming, down to earth owners, spotless comfortable room and the breakfast was delicious! Short drive from the island. Parking is a bit tricky however there are plenty of side streets to find a spot in which didn’t bother us. We will definitely visit again when we get a night away from the kids!

Absolutly loved this hotel, warm, friendly and clean, excellent breakfast and evening meal, The room was comfy, clean and the view was perfect, we had room 6, second floor and over looked Barry. Unfortunatly we only stayed here 2 nights and only had one evening meal here, but will return in the future for longer stay. Nothing was to much trpuble for the staff and owner and they made us so welcome. Thank you.

I would like to say thank you to all at the Aberthaw. My husband and I had a lovely 2 night stay here and we was so impressed. Room was clean and tidy and very comfy. Helen and staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast is amazing and all freshly cooked. I would highly recommend this hotel and we would have no hesitations in returning.
