My wife and I stayed at this quaint hotel, from entering the door to checking out all staff were very friendly, to a point of to good to be true. We it wasn't, we could not fault it. Not that we were looking for faults as we were bust enjoying our stay. The room was spotless, the food was amazing...

Stayed at this hotel while visiting relatives in Cardiff. Impressed by all elements of the hotel from friendly owners/staff (it is very much a family run hotel) to food and to room size/cleanliness - the hotel also has a bar and serves tapas daily along with pizza, chips etc. Considering the price charged (around £65 per night per room) it...

Such lovely hosts...who were upbeat, happy and funny. Huge breakfast and no shortage of toast. Would have loved to have sampled the tapas but couldn't wait for the five oclock opening of the restaurant. Beautiful walks locally and a fun fair for amusement!

Just returned from a two night stay here. We arrived earlier than expected but we were still checked in and welcomed with no mention of our timing. The room is lovely and clean with a nice comfy bed. They've put some thought into the little details such as hairdryer, iron, ironing board and toiletries which is always appreciated. The location...

Was pleasantly surprised with this place. One of the best places i'v stayed Helen the landlady could not have been more helpful and friendly. The food was good and the pizza is to die for. The views from the hotel are very good being set high on the top of Barry .

We really enjoyed a Tapas meal here. There is a large selection to choose from, we had a variety of tapas including meats and cheeses etc. Very well presented and served with politeness and a smile. Will visit again and recommend to others to try. We didn't stay in the hotel, just had a meal there.

Wonderful welcome by friendly staff/owner and that's how it was for the two days I stayed. It was amusing, at times, but never lost sight of the real objective which is to make sure all guests are well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. Great atmosphere from Breakfast to bed time, Lovely room to myself.....spotless!! Slept so well and...

I would describe this as a guest house rather than a hotel. There is no phone in room to contact reception, no bell on reception counter so a couple of times I had to hang around shouting hello until someone noticed me. A welcome pack in the room with WiFi code and other useful info would be helpful. I have...

I stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed a very warm welcome from all members of staff! They guided me as to the best way to get around the area! It is a few minutes walk from Barry Railway Station and a very pleasant 10 minute walk to Barry Island! A beautiful breakfast is served with a smile and the...

Many thanks to Helen and team for another lovely stay. A friendly welcome as ever and nothing is too much trouble. Sorry for getting you up early to make breakfast. So a brief review - rooms clean and comfortable with the essential facilities - en suite toilet/shower, TV, free wifi, coffee making facilities, etc. No complaints. At all. The worst...
