We stayed 4 nights at the Admiral for a business trip and can say it was some of the best accommodation I've stayed in. It's just around the corner from a busy town and main road yet there is no noise or disruption.

The lodge itself is a picturesque heritage home with original features and you immediately feel like home when you enter. I stayed as part of a bridal party the night before a wedding and it was the perfect location to relax and unwind before the big day. Great views of the city remind you how close you are but at...

We stayed for six nights in the Garden Suite which is separate from the main building at the back of the property with windows looking out on to the beautiful garden. The draw of the suite for us was the private bathroom and extra living space as we were in Sydney as part of a longer trip so had two...

The staff here were very friendly and helpful, always said hello and everything was very clean. Not stated before was that there was a free help yourself breakfast with cereal, tea, fresh bread which was a great bonus. The ferry is nearby, as is the bus, each about 5 mins walk and takes about 30 mins to the centre. Great...

My partner stayed there for four nights for work and I joined him for two nights. The lodge is super clean, the well equipped kitchen and breakfast are great (various types of müsli and cereals, fruits, toasts, several types of marmelade and Nutella, etc), the location was perfect for us (free parking on the street and short ferry ride to...

Stayed two nights with my daughter who is boarding in Sydney. Amazing value and wonderful staff. Street parking is readily available and the grounds are warm and inviting. A great atmosphere to sit and drink a nice cup of tea or coffee. Highly recommended for couples and families alike. I will stay again.

Very nice house and staff, beautiful and clean rooms with shared bathroom (they are so clean that it isn't a problem) and peaceful garden. Perfect if you are looking for a quiet place a bit outside of the city (even though walls are thin), but with a beautiful ride by ferry! We would highly recommend it!

Stayed in the Garden Terrace room out the back. Was so peaceful and quiet. Had our own lounge area and bathroom. Double bed but was very comfy. Great facilities for making your own breakfast in the beautiful big old house. Great seating out the back for relaxing. Street parking only. Short walk to Drummoyne ferry stop. Close to Birkenhead Point...

Collingwood House is located near the harbour and transport, providing easy access around the city, It was clean and provides all you need, with a simple breakfast. You need to be OK with shared bathrooms but they were very clean and fresh.
