This was an absolutely amazing experience! Sally was warm, hospitable and attentive to every detail. The upstairs loft is intended for two people but Sally accommodated three of us and we still had plenty of space. The room was magnificent and stocked with everything one would need, from a voltage converter to a hair straightener. The Loft is in a...

I was looking for a place for my husband and I, and two grown kids to stay when we all met up in Sydney to celebrate my son's 21st. I wanted easy access to the city so we could see a show and go to a restaurant at Darling Harbour. I also wanted somewhere easily accessible to the Northern Beaches...

We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend and rented both rooms. The loft room is really nice and view is fantastic. As others have said, it is spacious and gets lots of light. The downstairs room was perfectly fine. We have a large car so finding a parking spot was not all that easy but using the parking permit...

We were only staying in Manly for the night and wanted somewhere to stay that was situated close to our family in Freshwater. We enjoy the Ocean, the Pine trees and the laid-back atmosphere that Manly provides. This was the first time that we had stayed at 'The Manly Loft' and we would have no hesitation at going back there...

We loved staying at Manly loft. Spacious, a balcony and lots of windows and light. Walking distance to the beach, harbor and shops. We enjoyed taking the ferry for a night at the opera house - very convenient. Service and welcome warming and excellent.

Sadly we only had one night to spend here - really wish we could have had longer. So welcoming, beautifully clean, lovely, thoughtful finishing touches and such friendly, helpful hosts. The location is really great too - just a short, downhill walk to beach, town etc. Hopefully we will get to visit again soon!

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
