My family had a great weekend away at Q Station in December 2015. We booked a homely 3 bedroom cottage (S12) and found this to be spacious, beautifully appointed, clean and very comfortable. The ex-official's residence is located on a small, clear block, well away from other accommodation. The cottage has a large lounge, kitchen/dining and laundry area together with...

My husband and I stayed here for a night over the Easter weekend. We asked for a harbour view room and that's just what we got (Room 25). We spent most of our time relaxing on the (shared) balcony with a glass of wine (or two) and our cameras (to capture the beautiful views). The room was very comfortable with...

Our family of 3 had 2 nights here, with breakfast included. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. The staff were all friendly and calling a bus was easy. We decided not to do the ghost tour as our goal was to relax. Breakfast was nice, the scrambled eggs could be better - we could take our time and read the...

Just fell in love with this place! The rooms are a good and comfortable, however there is no air conditioning. A ceiling fan left the room in a nice temperature as it wasn’t too hot on that weekend. Lots of place for walkings and appreciation of the scenic views, wild rabbits and bandicoots. Full breakfast is served for 18.00 aud....

Six of us stayed in a cottage, very nice, clean, well appointed. Quarantine station is of significant historical importance. Fantastic site, worthy of a visit, played an important part in our history. Whilst accommodation was lovely, just a few things...a better electric jug, fridge needed a major defrosting and some outdoor furniture would hav been good, also, a new shower...

Firstly, what a beautiful location. The views were spectacular, particularly taking the shuttle bus to the isolation unit balcony at sunset. But there was some obvious struggles there that let the place down. Firstly - the positives. Like I said, the setting was gorgeous. I felt so relaxed there. Swimming in the property's own beach was also wonderful, I really...

I have to be a little careful here because my lovely and generous wife shouted us a night here for a birthday present, so I'll try not to offend, but I'm sure she will likely agree with most of my post. Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
