This is our regular hotel at Sydney airport (along with the Ibis next door). On this occasion I had needed to travel with very short notice due to an ill father and by the time I returned to Sydney I really needed a good hotel and they delivered. Booking only one week out I was very surprised to find the Pullman was the cheapest hotel at Sydney Airport and for $200 I got a special deal which included evening drinks/canapes and breakfast. Arrived early at 1200 so room was not ready so lounge access was provided until room ready. Enjoyed a coffee until room was ready around 1300. Room was top floor corner room and included my request of a bath (as a Gold Accor ALL member). Room was exceptional, clean and functional. Staff were attentive and helpful- they gave good directions to the nearest post office and pub at Mascot (only 10 minutes walk). Evening drinks were great with a special area and plenty of wine and beer plus nice hot and cold snacks. Breakfast also good and great to see that staff have finally constricted access so guests can't just wander in for free. Absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a decent hotel near the airport and we have already booked our next stay.

Pullman Sydney Airport being the only 5-Star hotel in the area, I had to check it out and stayed for a week recently. The location being quite near the airport was also an incentive. The room chosen was a Superior room with the same 31-31m square size but I swapped rooms from 2 double beds (10th floor) to 1 King bed plus a roll-out bed (12th floor with good views of the airport with planes taking off and landing with minimal noise levels) for the small sized adult family member, which gave us more space to move around, a good trick. I was with a member of my family. We didn't eat at the small-ish on-site restaurant but did use their kitchen facility for cutlery and crockery to heat up food in a microwave on the 2nd floor in the gym room past the gym equipment, which was helpful. The staff at reception (Sagitta) and the concierge were helpful and courteous. I had a hire car from Europcar at the airport which was parked in the hotel car park for the week for $210, discounted for parking for the whole week. The location is good, near the Mascot station, walkable distance and restaurants, including mainly asian ones. I liked Medan Ciak, Indonesian cuisine, one of my favourites. It will be worth staying there again, if the opportunity arises, now that we got to know the area a bit.

We couldn’t believe how good this was as an airport hotel. Especially good staff. Easy to get to the terminals and the city. The staff in the restaurant go out of their way to be welcoming. Rooms are quite modern with frosted glass separating the decent sized shower area from the bedroom.

As a loyal Diamond AccorPlus member, I had high expectations for my recent stay at the Pullman Sydney Airport. While there were certainly positive aspects to my visit, there were also some notable downsides that left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed.
Let's start with the positives. The staff at the hotel were generally friendly and accommodating, with a special shout-out to the housekeeping team who went out of their way to ensure my comfort during the stay. Their attentiveness and warmth were much appreciated and added a personal touch to the overall experience.
However, the room design was a bit of a letdown. It's evident that some thought went into the aesthetics, but the placement of the bathtub right by the bed felt awkward and exposed. While I appreciate unique design concepts, this particular choice felt more like an invasion of privacy than a thoughtful design element.
Comparing this Pullman to others I've stayed at, I couldn't help but feel that the value wasn't quite up to par. The room's design quirk aside, there wasn't anything particularly exceptional that justified the premium associated with the Pullman brand. I've had more comfortable and better-designed rooms at other Pullman properties, making me question whether this one truly offers the level I've come to expect.
One of the okay ones was the evening canapés, which were a delightful treat after a long day. The flavors were well-executed, and it was evident that some effort had gone into crafting a satisfying selection. However, my enthusiasm was dampened by the lackluster breakfast spread. The choices were limited, and the overall quality left much to be desired. For a hotel of this caliber, I had hoped for a more diverse and appealing breakfast experience.
In conclusion, my stay at the Pullman Sydney Airport was just adequate. While the staff, especially the housekeeping team, made the experience more pleasant, the room design and lackluster breakfast were significant downsides. As a seasoned traveler and AccorPlus Diamond member, I can't help but think that there are other Pullman hotels that offer better value and more enjoyable stays. While not a bad choice, this particular Pullman fell short of the expectations I've come to associate with the brand.

It was a short but unpleasant stay at Pullman Sydney Airport, arrived at the hotel close to midnight hoping to get a hot bath and a quick bite to eat before the flight.
The check-in experience was pleasant, the young gentleman with the glasses was proficient and gladly offered information on the room service which was available at the time.
Once I settled into the room, I tried scanning the QR code to order room service, however, the QR code kept on directing me to a webpage that displayed the Room Service is currently closed.
After several attempts, I decided to get on the phone with the Room Service to order a meal and a drink. The phone kept on ringing but no one answered, after a few minutes I hung up the call annoyed. So I decided to get the hot bath going first and try for the second time calling the room service, still, no answer, and my patience was wearing thin. Third time lucky and I was able to get through, the gentleman on the other end of the line with an Indian accent wasn't very keen to go through the menu items and directed me to look up the menu on the TV screen. When asked what was wrong the the QR ordering system, the answer was the system was performing a midnight reboot sequence and needed to wait a little.
Went to check on the bathtub, which had some water now and I could see hair and other debris floating around.
This pretty much does it for me, tired and hungry I took my phone out and ordered Uber Eat, drained the water in the bath, and jumped into the shower.
Considering Pullman Hotel is the high-end brand of the Accor group, I would be expecting a higher level of professional services from the hotel staff and room cleanliness that is above what a midscale hotel such as Novotel offers. Unfortunately, what I have experienced during this stay indicates further staff training is needed for the team looking after this particular hotel.

Rooms were clean and spacious. We ordered the Breakfast $25 big portions yet no butter we had to call room services and the coffees and tea had 2 sachets each.. Parking cost $40 overnight more expensive than some of the valet parking in city. Friendly female staff at the bar and reception.. Good for an overnight only..

This was our seventh stay and very disappointing. Would have said it was our favourite Sydney motel until this stay. We upgraded to Executive level as we were combining a special occasion and an airport meetup- it was not value for money! 1. Upon checkin at 5:50pm we were advised that Executive Club drinks & canapés concluded at 6:30pm. This cut off time not noted on website. 2. We were directed to wrong location for the drink’s & canapés. By the time we went up to our room to leave our bags, went to the wrong location and then back to reception we now only had 15minutes. There were no seats available so we sat at our reserved restaurant table early. Food had run out so we had one arancini each. 3. During our dinner our ordered wine was forgotten and no one came near us to see if everything was ok so there was no opportunity to remind staff. 4. Heading to room after dinner, there were understandably room service dinner trays in the corridor. The next morning they were still there and had been added to overnight by many more trays. A very shabby look for a five star motel! 5. Previous stays our car was parked for us. This time we were told this was unavailable and we would have to self park.
Upon checkout we were advised that our receipt would be emailed- two weeks later and we are still waiting! All in all not worth the money and we were left very disappointed.

We often stay here for Sydney based events or when traveling either domestic or international.
The hotel is always neat clean and well appointed and the staff never fail with all the great services provided.
Platinum membership ensures a few extras - including lounge drinks and canapés - that are always delivered and sometimes requests over and above are filled without issues.
Some other Accors in Aus could lift their game - many dropped a lot of privileges during COVID19 understandably and never reinstated them yet charge way more than ever before - so they also lost my business.
Nothing is a problem at the Pullman Airport - special thank you to Arthur who made an effort to assist us with a special need - no issues and of course Jen - what a classic bar staff member!!!
Highly recommend this hotel.

I was accommodated overnight, by an airline, due to my late aircraft arrival from overseas. At around 8.15pm or so I stood in a queue of some 4 people for around 20 minutes plus in order to check in. It was painful to watch the behind the counter slow processing for each client. On the way to my room I noted the corridor carpet needed a thorough clean, and it appeared it could not have occurred by that stage of the evening. Again the next morning I decided to have an a la carte meal of Eggs Benedict. I have a photo as a record but it seemed to be one of a chef's imagination . It did not resemble an authentic version, but comprised eggs on toast, layers of ham and covered in long scrolls of perhaps bechamel sauce. It was finally inedible to me as the eggs were just over raw. Again I noted under my table scraps of litter and crumbs throughout the immediate floor. Incidently, I had a pot of tea to accompany but was surprised to be given my milk in a little paper cup - why not in a standard milk jug ? Later where I awaited a shuttle transfer I again noted unclean bases of the tables adjacent to the window. Perhaps I could best describe throughout was the lack of attention to detail, and perhaps of minimal supervision. The crowning annoyance was that I was due to check out at 1100am and my Do Not Disturb light was on in the corridor. Yet at around 1000 I was aroused by constant and loud knocking on my door by the room attendant. I was actually in the shower and had to get to answer the door. I asked the attendant as to why she had ignored my sign, but of course I just got a blank stare. In summation, in what I thought was to be a pleasant restful stay, awaiting my next aircraft flight, turned out to be very discomforting transit in a so called 5 star establishment.

During my week-long stay at the Pullman hotel, the first few days were smooth, but things took a turn for the worse when I needed to extend my stay for business reasons. Initially, they claimed my room was no longer available and insisted I switch to a higher-priced room with a bath, which was inconvenient. Despite offering to pay for the upgrade and suggesting they give the better room to another guest, they refused. I had to go through the hassle of checking out and in again, only to find the air conditioning in the new room was faulty, along with other issues like a malfunctioning light.
Despite my complaints, the hotel claimed to be fully booked and unable to offer another room. After sending a technician who confirmed the air conditioning was indeed faulty, they still hesitated to move me to a different room, making me shuttle back and forth between reception multiple times. Eventually, they relocated me to another room with slightly better air conditioning, but it still didn't match the quality of the initial room.
Overall, my experience with the Pullman hotel was dreadful due to poor service, unskilled staff, and a lack of preparation to handle such situations.
