Sadly this establishment doesn’t rate very high. Admittedly it was a busy night but when you have ordered around 6.45- 6.55pm and are still waiting for 2 meals at 8. 45. The meals arrived in dribs and drabs, last meal ordered arrived first. Won’t be back again party of 11, the only saving grace was that the 4 children were served early but then they had to wait while adults waited and waited for their meals. 2 hours is not acceptable to wait for a meal!!
We have been here a couple Of times , First time was great not many numbers were there for dinner the first time the second time it was packed the staff were obviously overworked the service and the food was extremely low quality for the expensive prices , The oysters that I ordered Came out completely burnt And unrecognisable , The ribeye steak I ordered medium rare came out burnt as did six other steaks on our table very low-grade meal and unfortunately Will not be going back there again once I can forgive twice I can’t
Attended the Hampden Hotel for a work function. Relaxed atmosphere. Good selection of beers on tap. Large menu with plenty of meals to choose from. Meals were sensational and very well priced. Will be back !
We visited on a Friday night in early April, the dining room was busy and noisy. We ordered the duck spring rolls to share and found them crispy and delicious. For mains we all ate off the specials board, confit duck with mushroom & spinach risotto, crispy pork belly with sautéed cabbage and chicken, bacon and leek pie. All meals were exceptional and devoured by us all. The sticky date we shared for dessert was also delicious. We would highly recommend the Hampden Hotel!!
We keep going back to the Hampden Hotel for beautiful meals. Staff is friendly and the meals are top notch. The meals area is warm and comfortable. The kids really enjoy their meals which are a real good serving size.
