This was our 4th overnight stay to Kangaroo Ridge cabins, just a 15min drive out of Healesville Vic. Its a mountain retreat on a private property overlooking a valley of farms and wineries. When you book you have your choice of one of two cabins but it doesn't matter which one you choose as they have the same floor plan,... More

Must admit, we've set the bar high, frequenting the Daylesford area of Victoria. And for a couples getaway, you just can't beat Daylesford for choice and quality. We love the Yarra Valley, but struggle to find amazing places here. Kangaroo Ridge has stunning views. Surrounded by nature. Isolated. It's beautiful here. The unit has everything you need, but is missing... More

Spent a fantastic couple of nights here, views amazing, cabins fabulous, everything you need for breakfast (cook your own). Only 2 cabins and no children so all very quiet and peaceful. Wildlife wondering past in the evening and lots or birds. Excellent walks close by.

We had an amazing weekend away at Kangaroo Ridge Retreat! The cabin was cozy, comfortable and clean, and we were welcomed with a nice little treat of local goodies. We woke up to the stunning views of the valley below filled with misty fog and the sun rising behind it and ended our days by the warm cozy fireplace. Olga... More

Perfect location and views to die for. Private, away from every day life. Wild life everywhere. Loved the spa, fire and the balcony-we were lucky enough to have every meal outside. Bacon was also amazing!! Little odds and ends... Maybe two side tables...Sharper knives...fire starters and more wood for the fire...more towels and candles...furniture was great but some a little... My boyfriend took me here for a surprise 2 nights away last week. He earned big brownie points with this place! :) A big thank-you to the owners John and Olga, your cabins are perfect. Only small but with everything you need. Completely private, gorgeous views (words don't describe) from every place in the cabin, very roomy spa, robes, games,... More

We love the atmosphere along with the lovely provisions on arrival and for brekky. We have... More

We stayed at Kangaroo Ridge for two nights and had the most relaxing and wonderful stay. The views were absolutely stunning and the atmosphere of the cabin was so peaceful and cozy. It was 100% seclusion as we did not see anyone else on the property during our stay. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from our balcony. We have not... More
