Have stayed at both Lancemore Lindenderry and Werribee and believed this to be of the same standard following the marketing emails from Lancemore Corporate. Unfortunately it is not. Whilst the surrounds and location are very nice the rooms are in need of refurbishment when I am told will commence in May. Although, we had a new bed which was very comfy and a new large screen TV. The rest of the room was out of the 70's. Breakfast buffet was excellent but the housemaid did an average job (on arrival 1/2 roll of T Paper, no replacement, no tissues, hair in shower). Sunset room is loverly to sit out on the deck with a drink, although the chairs could do with an upgrade and a table would be useful ,and if you have bare feet then watch the nail heads sticking up from the decking. I would stay there again, but only after the refurbishment

My wife booked Lancemore as a treat for a significant birthday. The public areas of the hotel are well maintained and lovely, and the location is very good for walking to wineries. I have stayed at two other Lancemore properties in the Mornington Peninsula and Macedon Ranges and they were lovely. Disappointingly, the hotel badly needs a refresh, the last one I believe was in 2000. I was told this will happen in May 2022 so we were unlucky to see it at its worst. There was no wifi signal in our room (the hotel tried to fix it but were unsuccessful) in spite of a new Starlink connection that was delivering >200 MBS to the site and I used all my mobile phone data allowance to have a connection. In spite of paying $600 for 2 nights, our room was not serviced and we had to get a dry towel changeover from reception. There is no streaming or cable TV option so viewing on local channels are limited. The hotel did apologize for the problems and reimbursed part of our room cost and provided some wine in compensation. Overall, I would wait for the renovation before booking this expensive accommodation option, or you will be disappointed with it.

We stayed here on a break from lockdown last Winter, just for one night. We loved getting out of the city and into the fresh, crisp Milawa air. This hotel is a great location for visiting wineries and other places of interest in the area. We walked across the road and had a great afternoon at Brown Brothers. The room itself was a bit plain. We had a King bed (two singles together) and there was a third bed in our room, which we didn't require. We were beside an external door which kept slamming all evening as people came in and out. The view outside was really nice, over the pond in the front garden. The service wasn't great - was given a room which hadn't been made up originally, our breakfast orders were completely messed up, had to wait 30 mins in a queue for check out - but that was no doubt due to extreme staff shortages. Sometimes the prices here seem ridiculous, it's not even close to a 5 star hotel, so set your expectations if the price is high. We would definitely look to return once things get back to 'normal', as as long as the price is reasonable.

Lancemore Milawa was a fairly average motel style accommodation but charged as if it was a luxury resort, which it was not. In fact it was below the standard you expect in most country motels. It was tired and dated and in need of a refurbishment. It has a great location opposite Brown Brothers and with a little attention it could be great but it was not. Internet was spotty and over the hotel not what you expect. Overall disappointing but with potential.

Great hotel for a luxury stay. The staff were very friendly and our room was excellent. We used the pool, which was warmer than expected. The room was clean and had plenty of space. The couch couch do with an upgrade as it was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean with a walk in shower.
