I am so pleased that booking from the UK I managed to find this place, it was possibly one of the best experiences of my adult life, it wasn't just the place it was the way the folks there made time for us, we're interested and fascinating. If you travel to Australia and stay in hotels in cities ...you are...

Perfect halfway spot to stay one night enroute to Adelaide from Melbourne. Quick responses to booking queries, friendly welcome and beautiful scenery. Hotel style room was big, very clean, comfy bed, had great wifi, the a/c had been turned on prior to my arrival so after a long hot day of driving that was much appreciated. Mini fridge, kettle, tea/coffee/hot...

We held our Christmas Party at the Lodge and were blown away with the service we received even though the managers were very new and had not felt with our initial booking. We were a small group of 15 and were treated no different than a large group. Beautiful food, friendly service and a lovely spot right on our doorstep....

Almost don't want to review or everyone will come here! Beautiful location, fantastic value for money and one of the cleanest, best kept rooms I've ever stayed in. Don't be fooled by the dated looking decor in the photos, the doona covers might look a bit 80's but this place is immaculate. The pics don't do it justice. Plus extra...

Very unfriendly service ! George, the Emu is the nicest guy we met there. He should be the one in charge of the reception desk ! This place was the first time we had a bad reception since we arrived in Australia. I do not recomand that place.

we were lucky to spend 4 nights in our caravan in the camp ground of Little Desert Lodge this month. Others with us stayed in the 'motel like' accommodation. A meal in the dinning room was great with surprisingly extremely good food, presented well and tasted even better. (Temporary chef we heard). The area around the lodge is full of...

We stayed one night at this Lodge. Room was big and well laid out. The area is quiet and relaxing. There is a nice walk around the Lodge area and a few native animals wandered about. Nice place to wind down from the road.

Beautiful bush land, wonderful wildlife encounters, peaceful paradise. Whimpey had real vision and was ahead of his time when he set this place up.
