Athelstane house is a lovely bed and breakfast. I went to Queenscliffe for my birthday and we stayed here for 3 nights. We were in room six at the back of the building which I liked. Very quiet. We had a private balcony which was lovely when the sun was setting. The spa was excellent. The room was cosy, clean...

Stayed overnight for business and was pleasantly surprised by the all round quality of this little gem. Great service, clean room and great food. I had to make up excuses to leave. On site restaurant serves dinner, have the twice cooked pork belly. Breakfast included which did not disappoint.

A beautiful Hotel in a beautiful part of the world. The Hotel has been restored to its original grandeur. With booked with a party for a reunion and could not speak more glowing words of the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was a problem. The room was well appointed and I would recommend a balcony room. It was very clean....

We arrived at Athelstane House in ivery upmarket Queenscliffe. We parked the car under a shady tree. We were greeted by genuine smiles everywhere. The room was breathtaking with very spacious and beautifully decorated interior. 2 sets of French doors led to a balcony overlooking the street. My wife and I stayed in Room 1 as part of a package for the weekend, which included The Blues Train on the Saturday night.
