I have stayed at many BnBs in the US, Canada and Europe ... this one measured up in some regards, but not others. I was travelling with my two elderly parents who have mobility issues. In addition, my dad has a dead nerve in his...More
My wife and I recently visited Nashville and chose the Daisy Hill Inn for a 3-day stay. Owners Darrell and Linda Bengson run a beautifully decorated, warm and friendly Bed & Breakfast near Vanderbilt University, a few minutes away from the exciting Broadway strip. They...More

Peaceful and romantic. Love the innkeepers, Darrell and Linda Bengson! They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. I am already planning when I can return. I came for a business trip but they made it feel more like vacation.

Opryland is no longer in downtown Nashville, but is out by the airport, so Daisy Hill is not close to it at all. It is a short drive on US 231 (just a few blocks from the B&B) to get to the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Ryman Theater (where the Opry used to be...) and to Broadway (or "music row" as you referred to it.) You will need a car to get anywhere from Daisy Hill, but most places of interest are just a short drive away. I recommend getting a good map of downtown Nashville-- there are good ones available online that give you enough details to find pretty much everything you'd want to see. Or, use GPS.
