This hotel is starting to show its age. Pros: The rooms were clean. The bed was good. The balcony overlooking the river was nice. Cons: The breakfast is muffins, coffee, and juice. Grab and go. The carpet is old and shows wear with some stains. Some white lights versus yellow lights sure would help getting ready easier in the morning. Overall, it wasn't bad. I would stay here again.
The first room we were given was not cleaned from previous guest, dirty towels & wash rags on floor, Gross! The 2nd room was more updated but still not very clean. I literally whiped the bathroom & tub down with hand sanitizer. If not in a bind would have left. Never stay here. I felt sorry for the lady at front desk, she apologized several times. Thought it was funny the cleany lady, Bonnie leaves a card in the room saying how your room has been cleaned for you, what a joke. I will be asking fo a refund from booking. com.
The first room smelled of cigarette smoke, dirty and musty. The second room had a dirty towel under the sink, crumbs on the bathroom floor, hair on the shower wall and smelled musty. The receptionist acted like I was bothering her when I asked for a new room. She was to busy eating her lunch.
The standard room is actually 2 bedrooms divided by the bathroom area giving privacy to two or more guests. The room is older but seemed clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The negatives were the "free breakfast" which consisted of a bag of Hostess Muffins and coffee from a machine and the one ice maker could not keep up with less than full occupancy.
It was ok at first but then the roaches came… also the fleece blanket on the bed had about 40 cigarette burns and the heater vents looked like they had the recipe for covid-23, just overall very gross. Also if more than 1 person needed a shower the steam would bring out the weed smell from the walls and carpet
We had bad weather needed a place to stay our electricity was out. This was one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at in a while. I travel a lot. I stay in very expensive hotels and I have to say this has been the cleanest hotel and staff was amazing.
Always pleased with our stay here. Nice staff. Clean rooms. Pretty setting. Easy access to local restaurants and out of the PF & Gat traffic. We prefer to stay here over other hotels. :) Go ahead. Book it.
This was a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a bonus back door and window with view of trees and creek. Staff were great. I would definitely return. Located right on the main road between I40 and Pigeon Forge.
Loved our stay here. Every single personal was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return. Not your typical 4X4 room and beautiful quite and awesome Back patio seating as well. Away from all the pigeon forge and Gatlingburg crowd which was a plus.
I booked using an online service. Sent a message asking about an earlier check in, advising appx arrival time. Was told the room would not be ready by that time and did not offer any Optional time. The check in girl was not friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day. Didn’t tell me anything about breakfast. Didn’t give me any info on the wifi. Password is normally on the key holder - not here. Called the front desk and asked. I felt as though I was inconveniencing her by asking. Wifi only worked part of the time. The carpet was dated and worn. The beds were double and not queen as advertised. Mr Clean needs to drop off some magic erasers for the bath tub. They advertise - on the river. The river and the area between the hotel and the river was grown up and not accessible or even pretty. And the housekeeping started rolling up the sidewalk in front of our room and on the 2nd floor above us at 8 am. 4 big wheels on concrete. Didn’t need an alarm clock. The employees were loud and I feel completely inconsiderate. If they were out cleaning at 8, why would a room not be available around 12:30 or 1:00? It’s a BIG NEVER again for me.…
