A fall vacation at Reelfoot lake to view the pelicans. We stayed at Cypress Point Resort. They have an extremely helpful and friendly staff. We had a cabin with screened porch. The cabin was clean and comfortable. With nice weather we enjoyed using the porch and our pet was able to be with us. This is a nice resort close...

I will be returning to Cypress Point for the third time very soon. Every year, my entire family meets up there. The staff is friendly, the rates are great. I've stayed in a room (like a hotel room but bigger) and a cabin. I prefer the cabin because it has its own screened in porch. One year we traveled with...

We stayed 4 days, but due to weather, only got to really fish two day. I'm sure that sounds like a bad trip. But the staff at Cypress Point, as well as other rain soaked, wind blown fishermen made it a great stay. Yes, as one reviewer said, it is a little rustic, but, a the rustic setting allows those...

It's a little outdated and needs some TLC. But they have houses for lager groups. A gift shop for essentials. Daily maid service. Friendly and helpful boating staff. During prime time they have a free cookout on Thursdays. We stayed in one of the houses across the street so the wi-fi didn't reach that far.

We went to Reelfoot to photograph the eagles, so we used Cypress Point's guide. Not only did we see eagles, but John had a vast knowledge of the lake and we saw many other waterfowl, as well. Cold morning, so we dressed for the trip! Keep in mind, eagles are not confined, so it's definitely a hit or miss. John...

My wife and I stayed one night on January 15th as part of the Eagle Package tour. It was very cold that weekend, but saw several Eagles on the lake early Saturday morning. Most of them were flying overhead, but a few were perched on trees. The guide took his time crossing the choppy waters of the lake to prevent...

A friend and I stayed here using the Eagle Watching /boat tour package. Raptors, like all birds and daylight wildlife, are only out in large numbers at dawn and dusk. Nevertheless, we were, without being asked, shuttled to an 11:00 am boat ride--miserably cold but not ONE Eagle. Obviously, there are no guarantees ever with wild animal spotting, but we...

I liked this place. It was cozy and homey. It provided the basics: comfortable bed, clean room and bath, and a nice kitchenette. If you spend the night at Reelfoot Lake, you probably didn't come for 5 star lodging, you came to commune with the outdoors. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is close to a lot of...

Cypress Point is more than meets the eyes! It's a small, friendly resort, with many rooms and amenities. Upon arrival, we checked in at the front desk/gift shop. We were welcomed with a friendly smile. They are "old school" with regular keys for your rooms, but it was non-issue. Upon check-in, we went to our rooms, They were neat and...

We stayed in the house, which is across the street. It looks nice outside, but is old, and musty inside. The furniture is beyond gross, falling apart and uncomfortable. The set up is weird too, you have to walk thru one bedroom to get to the other and to the living room. It smelled so bad we had to spray...
