A last minute vacation brought us to this location. We have stayed at many KOA through out the United States and this one is really beautiful. The grounds are well kept , the bathrooms have all been updated along with the shower rooms. Our cabin was along the river and near the road, we had concerns it would be noisy...

Our second time here and this stay was even better than the first. The staff is beyond friendly. There had been some small updates to the cabins since our last visit in 2014. Also, the HOT water was plentiful this time. Spring for a cabin on the river. A truly great visit, we will be back again!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin on the river for a week during the end of April 2017. The campground is immaculate. Everything is very well kept. The cabin was clean, neat and in very good shape. It comes with linens, dishes etc. It has a covered porch with a great view of the water. Very, very peaceful. The staff...

Extremely Rude Management to my daughter. She was scared of the man. We will never give them our money again. There are other campgrounds that appreciate their customers. I am suprised that KOA hasn't stepped in. We will start going back to Pigeon Forge .

Hello Garell F. , can you please tell me what site number you were on and when you stayed at the Townsend Great Smokies KOA. This might help us in staff training. Thank you, Mark C., General Manager

This year marks the third year that we have camped there and it's been the same every year. The staff at this KOA has to be the most accommodating staff ever besides being the nicest folks on the planet. If you don't have a camper or want to sleep in a tent they have cabins for rent. We've never stayed...

We stayed here for 5 nights and have to say it is one of the best park we have stayed out. They have paver patios with table and 4 chairs. Has a really nice dog park which we used a lot. Looked to have a nice playground and pool. It is right there on the river. Lots of trees too....

My son is an only child and really looks forward to camping at KOA on our RV trips because he knows he'll always find lots of activities and lot of kids to play with. Maybe it was the time of year (April) but this KOA had almost no kids and no activities! It was beautiful and clean, but populated primarily...

We typically take the camper to this KOA, but we decided to do a quick getaway for 2 nights in one of the delux cabins (DC3). River view too. We absolutely love this KOA and it's staff. They all take such great care us us. You can order wood, ice, etc at the store & they'll deliver it to you....

This is the second time we have stayed here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This is an old campground but they have done a lot since we were here several years ago. They have added a lot more cabins and added patio sites. I believe there are only 3 pull thru sites. We stayed at one. Sites are pretty...

Beautiful scenery and so laid back! I love the big sidewalks and so much room to walk a dog! No big crowds to deal with! Only downside is no easy drive thru restaurants or much to do at night. But the quiet was what I needed this trip!!

Thank Kathy C
