I've stayed here several times and enjoyed it every time . The quaint small town and bed and breakfast feel is truly relaxing. Slip out the back door to the restaurant with same owners. Great food great place to stay. Go enjoy.

Very cute place, I just loved the authentic feel of the place. I felt very safe, for I was with my two grand girls. This is not your usual chain hotel, which made it feel more like a vacation then work to me. I felt safe, and the girls even found a couple girls in the courtyard to play with....

I am not for sure which named room we stayed in but the number was 19. Each room is individually decorated I would say the room I was was in was very impressive. Yes the shower stall is something to talk about with the shower head coming from the ceiling instead of the wall. The rooms are very clean. We...

We ended up a day in the Balmorhea area and this was the first lodging that we passed. We parked, went into the courtyard area for the office, rang a bell and waited a couple of minutes for someone. The courtyard is pleasant. There was a friendly dog who greeted us. The room was nice, the locks were difficult to...

This is a super cute hacienda style hotel. We stayed in the Los Ositos room. Which has "two" rooms. You are greeted by a sweet little dog! The owner was very nice and helpful and check in/out was a breeze. But during the non-check in hour (3pm-5pm) it is hard to find someone who works there. But, in the office...

We stayed in the Los Ositos room. It was perfect as we were traveling with a 3 year old. The shower was an awesome rain shower. The dual sinks were nice. It was very clean and the gentleman who checked us in was the owner. He was super nice and helpful. The room AC units were enough to keep us...

My husband and I spent two nights here while on our way to Big Bend. We had read about the spring fed pool at Balmorhea State Park and wanted to try it out. I think there are only 3 hotels in Balmorhea and I wouldn't want to stay at the other two. Visitors need to count their blessing that this...

Me and my family planned to traveled from Austin to Balmorhea to visit the state park for four days and three nights but needed a place to lay our heads, so after a quick web search and viewing online pics I decided on El Oso Flojo. I called and reserved the two room suite named El Osito (room 20). I...

We stayed here one night during our road trip through the Big Bend region. Each room is different, we stayed in The Bubba room. Owner was nice, we arrived around 9 pm and he was there to get us checked in. The room was very clean. Two double beds, tv, good sized high table with two barstools, microwave and small...
