This place lives up to, or down to its name, a place to stay. It's not much more than that six small rooms, one communal bathroom, no breakfast or tv. It does have incense in the common area that wrecks sinuses. If you need a bed for the night it is, after all a place to stay.

Past reviews complain about loud squeaking doors, well months later they still squeak. So easy to fix. The floors also squeak for some reason. The room was clean, but that is about the only positive. It was cold the night we were there and we had no control of the temperature. We just hid under our blankets. The "hot" water...

Stopped in Bandera for the night while on a weekend motorcycle trip. It's a great motorcycle friendly town! Ate dinner at OST, a great local cafe. Definitely check out Arkey Blue's Silver Dollar Honkey Tony. One of the last REALLY honky tonks left. For breakfast we hit the local bakery, great, friendly shop owned by two sisters.

Several rooms with a shared bath! Door squeeked every time it was opened. If you are looking for a basic bed (clean) this would be your place. No staff on duty. There is a community kitchen so you could bring something for breakfast if you wished.

Cute clean room, great location! It can get a little warm at night especially with no fan in the room, they have the thermostat locked so you can not control it. Other than waking up hot i enjoyed my stay and would return.

Thank you for your response. Because this is a shared community, we have to keep the temperature agreeable for the majority of the people. Everyone prefers different temperatures. We have the thermostat set at very comfortable temperatures. And we do provide fans and heaters for those with extreme differences, thank you.

We knew going in that this was NOT a hotel. Make no mistake about it. It was a doctor's office that they modified to include 2 big bathrooms with showers. We loved the huge kitchen with all the amenities (stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeepot etc). You can't adjust the A/C but they kept it at a very comfortable level. You get...

This particular property could use a lot of attention, yard was unkept, visible junk storage wide open and seemed to be everywhere! Very uncomfortable outdoor furniture arrangement, sat outside one evening. The elderly owners would walk back & forth to keep an eye on us from their open glass "backdoor" 10 ft. away. However my biggest complaint, they failed to...

I noticed "A Place To Stay Reservations" when I was searching for a last minute get away in Bandera. They offered quite a few types of lodgings, from those including the use of a pool to cabins with multiple rooms to single rooms in a "bunkhouse" in downtown Bandera. Booking with them was quick and easy, with the host/manager communicating...

Their advertised location is an EMPTY building with papers scattered every where in its interior. Their telephone number was not answered by anyone in person. It replies by text after you call. The replies are curt and not at all businesslike. Not a single responsible individual can be found anywhere. In summary , the offer non existing lodging. In my...

Adorable cottage in the country. We really enjoyed our stay. Two friends on a Texas speed sight seeing self-made tour. There is lots of room, it's clean and inviting. The hot tub is great- hot hot hot! The pool is lovely. The setting is country, quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed playing checkers on the front porch with the table top...
