Only place you need to stay when in the area. Beats the major hotel chain hands down. Centrally located to all the central hill country attractions. Whether it for R&B or business you will throughly enjoy your time here.

Every summer, myself and about 5 or 6 other couples get together for a mini fraternity reunion. It's tough to find places in the Hill Country to get us all in one spot, but we were glad we found the Blanco County Inn. Unassuming at first (and we did have our skeptics) but by the end all were glad we...

This motel doesn't look like anything special when you arrive but as soon as you meet the owners and see your room you know that this is a place you will return to. The rooms are unique, spotless and comfortable. They have a real coffee maker and also have snacks provided every day. I recommend this place to all our...

Deborah, the owner checked me in. What a lovely person. I am writing this review after being in my room for less than a half hour, barely enough time to unpack for my weekend stay. The room is perfect, clean, and quaint. Lol, I don't know if I have ever called anything quaint before. Everything on their website stating the...

I would like to begin this review with all the things I enjoyed about Blanco County Inn: Even though this small inn is right off highway 281, it is rather hidden unless you are looking for it. Free parking right in front of your door. This makes unloading, loading and monitoring your car a breeze. Keyless entry! We do two...

very friendly staff and a very clean room. Great yard area to sit out and enjoy a morning cup of coffee. They have ceiling fans, soft towels, and nice little kitchen and sitting area in the room. We'll be back! It was also a short 1/2 mile walk on a side street to the old down town square for great...

Our room was so charming and comfortable. The owners are so very nice and welcoming. We travel a lot and I will say this is one the BEST hotels we have ever stayed at. The courtyard at night is beautiful and calming. Plus not a big deal but worth mentioning there were plenty of towels. And I mean big bath...

We were staying here for a wedding and it was so clean and perfect! We absolutely loved it! I highly recommend staying here. I would stay here over other places in this area! It was 50 dollars cheaper to stay here than best western. Free wifi and a beautiful mini kitchen. Super easy to find

I can't remember how many times we've stayed at Blanco County Inn, but it's not enough! I honestly hate to convince anyone else to stay here because there may not be a room for us next time, but honestly; great owners, great service, and a comfortable room deserves a great review! Clean, comfortable & a great value. The free Wi-Fi actually...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We let our customers decide whether they want to do nothing, or savor all the things Blanco & the Texas Hill Country have to offer. With that said we are an 80 year old motel, with rooms that have been remodeled over the last few years. All this to give our customers, and future friends, a charming "Hill Country" Experience! Being (we believe the motel was built in1932) we are 80 years old; we are the oldest lodging in Blanco County. Also, we are one of the oldest lodging establishments in the hill country. It was founded by Mary Lester as the Lester Courts when the State & Federal government was developing our state park system and when Route Number 66 was developed. No, not US Route 66, we think it was a state highway before it became US 281. So along with the road and the park here Mrs. Lester built the Lester courts. Wanting to slow down the frenzied pace of corporate life, my wife and I jumped at the chance to live in the hill country, and run a quaint little inn. As our retirement project we have had fun restoring the motel to a quaint "Boutique Motel" and meet people and new friends from all over the world. Ask us about some fresh eggs or soon our "Blanco County Honey!" ... more   less
