My family stayed here for four nights and had the absolute best time. We were able to take advantage of the many gorgeous hiking trails and beautiful pool. The staff was so welcoming and made sure we were well equipped with delicious food, water, and transportation for every adventure. They met our every need and prepared the best meals we could have asked for. We will definitely be back and would recommend this destination to everyone!!!

Hidden Valley Inn truly is a hidden gem. A little challenging to get to but the effort will be rewarded with beauty and adventure that will leave you with a lifetime of great memories. So few places offer the opportunity to swim under a stunning 80 foot water fall in complete solitude, hike along beautiful streams seeing amazing flowers and end at yet another secluded waterfall and swimming hole. Only at this little pool of refreshing water is a wonderful white linen sparkling wine lunch with a hammock that the fantastic staff was nice enough to pack in and set up for you. Forgot a swim suit when you left on the hike, not to worry, pretend your Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, it feels like it. There are 90 miles of trails on this property and only 12 rooms, most of the time you will feel like you are the only ones here. This place can be as relaxing or as adventurous as you wish to make it, hike all day if you like, tired? Call them on the radio you are given and before you know it they pick you up and whisk you back to the Inn for a cool libation. Not into adventure today... simply lounge in the pool and chill. The staff is fantastic, friendly, full of suggestions on how to spend your days, and very eager to make the guests feel at home. The rooms are surprisingly comfortable, especially considering there is no AC, but the rooms never feel like you need it. We have stayed in both types of rooms here, if you can opt for the larger Estate suites they have a great outdoor screened in sitting area and n outdoor waterfall shower with orchids growing in it. Do the Caracol trip with Marvin he is awesome and very entertaining. Absolutely do the sparkling wine romantic lunch at Secret Pools and Falls, memories to last a lifetime. The Cascade trail is like a fun but adventurous jungle gym along a great stream with more beautiful little waterfalls and pools than I could even count. But of course the hands down must do is take a leisurely swim under Butterfly Falls a true gem. This was our second visit to Hidden Valley Inn, the last being eleven long years ago, and this place is still as wonderful as we remembered. It absolutely will not take us eleven years to return this time. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for a fantastic return visit.

The inn creates a feeling of individual privacy with amazing nature trails throughout its thousands of acres of private forest, streams, and waterfalls. The staff is unparalleled in creating an outstanding welcoming environment and a personalized experience without having an aura of pretense and it is apparent that they truly want the guests to have the greatest experience possible. It's location is convenient to ATM Cave as well as Caracol and the inn provides transport and the highest quality guides as well as all needed amenities to experience these treasures and many others. I can recommend this facility without any reservation whatsoever in regards to anybody having an unparalleled experience. The food and service are also outstanding.

We had an amazing time at Hidden Valley, which we stayed at stayed at for 5 days in late December (and for reference, we are frequent travelers). The staff treated us like family - everyone knew our name, was incredibly attentive, and catered to our every need (even before we arrived, Estell was in continued communication with me to make sure they understood and could adapt to any needs we had). The food was amazing as well, which was particularly great given there’s not really other options nearby for food. Our cabin was lovely - comfortable beds, bathrooms are in need of a bit of an upgrade but are still fine. Rooms can be smoky if someone recently had a fire in the fireplace. The common areas are great - we spent time in the hot tub each afternoon and made new friends each time we were there (that’s another great thing about this inn - it’s so small that you get to meet others there as well). We went on the Caracol and ATM tours, both of which I highly recommend, and we also spent several days just hiking on Hidden Valley’s vast acreage to various waterfalls and swimming holes. All in all, we had a wonderful time at Hidden Valley and we would definitely return. I strongly recommend this gem of a property!
