Fort Clark Springs Motel is actually located in the Fort Clark Historic District, which is part of the National Regiter of Historic Places. There aren't a lot of lodging options available in Ft. Clark; but don't stay there for that reason .. stay there for the history. Established in 1852, Fort Clark was one of Texas' frontier forts along the...

I have driven past Fort Clark Springs 24 times going back and forth to Big Bend National Park over the last 26 years. This time I decided to stop and look at the Calvary Fort sitting across the street from Brackettville, Tx. Turned out what I thought was a working Calvary Fort turned out to be a Texas Historical Site....

We stayed here for one night on our cycling trip across America. Although the place is beautiful and has lots of history, we only chose it because it's the only accommodation in town. The price we paid was not the best value for money compared to other places. Although the room was spacious, it had no microwave or fridge so...

Recently stayed there on our way from Baytown to Big Bend on a motorcycle trip. The weather had chance of hail and we requested to park our bikes under the porch and they agreed. The rooms were clean, a/c worked great and the pool was awesome. We even changed our return route to stay there again.

I love this place for its uniqueness! Fort Clark Springs is a gated community located in the middle of nowhere south Texas with an incredible spring-fed swimming pool, wildlife galore, and an old fort to boot. It is a rough and rugged oasis that is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. The hotel itself is old...

Let's start with carpet missing, mold growing, towels paper thin, door knobs falling off curtains falling ...what a shame. But no other place to stay unless you go to del rio which you should. Someone should definitely check major health code violations here....and 75 dollars a night are you kidding me...Fix the place! Outdate broken down ...rustic is one thing but...

It was a nice room for the price, clean, nothing special. Lots of things to do inside fort. Liked the museum and the kids loved the pool. Great place for a reunion. Some stayed at the RV park, it was very nice.
