We spent an evening at this place to just get away from the traffic. We also dined at the restaurant which includes fine wine so we decided to stay at the B&B to relax. The reservation included a tour of the winery, a wonderful wine tasting and a cheese platter with wine at the lounge. The "Romeo & Juliet" suite... More

We stayed here for our anniversary last Thanksgiving. The villa is beautiful inside with so many interesting antiques. We had a great time at the winery and exploring the grounds. The only thing missing was dinner as the restaurant wasn't open when we were there. The good news is that after you have too much wine you can order delivery... More

The room was very clean and comfortable. The attention to detail was wonderful with stained glass windows, a nice bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The room was the second nicest room we have stayed at in any B & B....and that is a huge compliment. Unfortunately in the evening, around 4 p.m., they had an event right outside our room... More

This review is about the Restaurant - My husband took me to dinner at the Messina Hof winery. What a great place to eat (although a little pricey).. The food was honestly some of the 'best' we've had anywhere in this area.. VERY good food. The only real 'negative' I could say is that they knew it was my birthday... More

We appreciate your review! I'm also glad to hear you had a good time at Messina Hof. I'm sorry that you didn't get a birthday treat at the end of our meal. Our Chef is aware of the issue and is making sure that our birthday visitors get a treat. Also, could you change your review to our Vintage House... More

This winery and B&B makes a nice weekend getaway. When we arrived, we were given tickets for a free glass of wine and a cheese tray in the wine bar. Then we tasted some of their other wines in their tasting room, which also has a very nice gift shop. The Villa itself is beautiful. Our room was very spacious... More

We stayed in the Jefferson room, beautiful room and view. Quiet, nice bed and great breakfast. We will be back. The wine tour and tasting was a lot of fun. The restaurant was over looking the vineyard, great food and service. The pork chops and lamb was delicious and the cherries jubilee was a winner for desert.

I wrote a previous review about how our anniversary was ruined. The manager, Scott Sloan, responded to that review, inviting us back to "make things right". We took him up on that offer and I took my husband there as a surprise for Father's Day. We sat in the back room by the windows, overlooking the vineyard. It was beautiful.... More

Great weekend trip to the B&B, winery, restaurant & wine bar. Everything was top notch for us. Met the owners and enjoyed the whole experience. Great breakfast, free wine tour and daily wine & cheese tastings with your B&B stay. good value. Restaurant, food and service were excellent. Enjoyed their wines and brought some home to enjoy later.

The Villa is located at the Messina Hof Winery, one of Texas' most awarded wineries. The rooms were even better than depicted on their website. Camelot, the room we chose, was clean, spacious and everything worked. Both nights were very quiet and we never heard any of the other guests. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful with cold offerings followed by... More

In the interest of full disclosure, I am an Aggie (class of '99) and as such I could be slightly biased. With that being said, I've stayed here a few times and each time was amazing. Great wine, great food, great service. The rooms are clean, cute, and comfortable. Staff has really gone the extra mile every time I've been.... More
