This is spacious cabin on its own comfortably furnished with antique furniture and artefacts. There is an impressive fireplace and a large comfortable bed. The best bit is the quiet and tranquility you feel from sitting out on the deck and taking in the atmosphere of the countryside. A hot delicious breakfast is delivered by the proprietor in a basket. Quaint, neat cabin. Most furniture was late 19th or early 20th century style. Very comfortable king-size bed, TV, DVR, coffee pot/coffee with "fix'uns", microwave and frig. Wood front porch and back deck with chairs. Stone fireplace. A/C. Absolutely quiet and private...we never even met the owner. Talked to her on the phone and when she brought breakfast the next morning,...

We stopped at Willow Creek winery in Abilene and were able to enjoy a bottle of wine on the back porch while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Breakfast was brought...

I was somewhat disappointed when I saw that it was just off the main highway to Abilene but once inside and then going out to the backporch....the highway was forgotten. I must make it clear,...
