Booked in here with my wife for a two Night break on a Friday and Saturday over Easter. Shown very quickly to our room which was very clean and very comfortable, although the pillows were so hard they wouldn't be allowed in a prison in case they were used as weapons! The bar was cosy and the locals were very...

I don't like writing negative reviews here so on the rare occasion I feel the need to i always give the hotel a chance to reply via email first. On this occasion The Black Swan didn't get back to me so here's what we found. We last stayed at The Black Swan in 2010 and it's clear that the rooms...

Stayed for 2 nights on groupon offer. Room comfortable and warm. Food served in pub was tasty with good breakfast menu. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are several options for walks nearby. There is also a caravan park on site. Would stay again.

I wanted somewhere close to Masham but with a restaurant and parking on site. I booked a one night stay at the Black swan. The room was in an accommodation block at the rear of the pub. We were in a double room and although on the surface everything looked clean it lacked a deep clean with a smelly shower...

We stayed here for two days last week on a deal booked through Living Social. After having read some recent reviews, I must admit I was a bit apprehensive about what to expect. My concerns, however, were unfounded. We arrived shortly before the check in time having stopped off in Ripon on the way where we walked around and visited...

We stayed two nights, 31 March - 2 April and had a great time. Warm welcome, large comfortable room and some excellent beers, gin and food on both nights. I can only say that we would highly recommend a stay and we'd love to return. To top it all off we even had sun (mostly) for our walks around the...

We enjoyed our first trip here and were not disappointed on our return. We thought the improvements made enhanced our stay. Renovations made in the bar and restaurant made eating a lovely experience, more like eating in a restaurant than a pub, which we loved. Quality of food served at both breakfast and dinner was excellent, using local produce, good...

Quite surprised to read such mixed reviews from a similar time to our visit. However I'm happy to report our experience was a positive one. We enjoyed a 2 night B&B deal with prosecco and dinner on the first night. Our room was very spacious and clean with complimentary tea/coffee facilities and bathroom toiletries. We found the food to be great,...

We have a friend who owns a farm in Healey and we're returning customers, would highly recommend to anyone passing or staying in the area. Food is delicious, high quality... the restaurant is cosy, and the service is warm :)

On arrival there was a cement mixer in the carpark and some building work. We had a lukewarm greeting, and were made to feel as if we were an inconvenience when we booked our evening meals. We were shown to our room and told information was in a book. The room was cold, we checked the book to find that...
