We were treated to a weekend in this accomodation via a Wowcher deal. The staff/welcome was great and couldn't have been better. Included were breakfasts and dinner on one of the nights. Couldn't fault the food as it was top notch. The room was beautiful and lovely and warm (hooray for the underfloor heating) in spite of the awful weather....

We have stayed at this pub before and can't fault it again. The room was spacious and the bed was massive. The food was fantastic again. We are staying here again for the new year. Unfortunately on our last stay there was a fire and the kitchen burnt down so they had a catering van for the food, but no...

We met as a group of ex-colleagues having our annual re-union our second time at the Black Swan and it won't be our last. We had a lovely welcome from Sean and his team, nothing was too much trouble, the heating in our room wasn't working properly and a heater was provided within 5 minutes, with the heating repaired the...

Stayed here for two nights and on arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. The room (standard double) was clean, modern, spacious and had everything you need - including hairdryer, lovely fluffy towels and plenty of tea/coffee etc. The shower was amazing however unfortunately we found the bed and pillows particularly uncomfortable. We ate in the restaurant on our...

We booked a night here through wowcher which included dinner, breakfast and a tour of the black sheep brewery. The first room we were given was dark and claustrophobic so we upgraded to a bigger room. Bed was comfortable, but the room was far too hot. I ended up propping the window open, because the heating was centrally controlled at...

Only made an enquiry regarding a Groupon deal I had seen. Granted I was asking for extras that were not part of the deal but the guy I've just spoken to could bot have been much less helpful! We have often used such deals before and proprieters have gone out of their way to accommodate my 2 young children as...

The night before we stayed here we were betting on virtual horse races. We took a bit of a gamble on staying at the Black Swan too. Among the majority of very good reviews were a handful of truly awful ones but we went ahead and booked anyway. We're glad we did The Positives: On arrival, we were met by...

My wife and I recently stayed here for a couple of nights on a short break and it’s a very convenient place to stay when exploring the dales. The accommodation appears to have been recently built / refurbished and is in a modern, clean, functional style with a comfortable bed, a good shower and a modern TV. The wooden floors...

We went on a one night break with our friends and we all had a really lovely time. This was despite the fact that the area was covered in fog! And so obviously we didn't see the wonderful views. !Our room was modern , cosy and spotless with a hughe comfortable bed. The bathroom was perfect with a great shower...
