It was an official visit and we enjoyed the time though didnt have much personal time. We loved evening walks along the river view and some of us did try golfing. It was a pleasure to be visited by deers and having a company of longhorn, lamas and horses. Staff was very amiable and at least I had a good... More

This hotel had everything you'd want/need during a stay; there was no reason for us to leave the property (and we didn't). Between the expansive amenities, the hiking/jogging trails nearby, the food selection and friendly staff, I decided that I needed to move in!

Had a delightful brunch at this iconic resort. The service is great, and the food impeccable! Wandering the halls afterward we found the Longhorns out and had photo ops sitting astride these beauties! The serenity of the location and the full service bar draws me back the next time I'm near Austin!

This hotel is one of the most beautiful and well appointed I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The 470+ acre property is naturally beautiful with so many activities to offer; golf, horseback, tennis, fishing and many others. The food has been delicious. The meeting facilities have been spacious. The staff has been friendly and most accommodating! The beds... More

Overall, while the staff was kind and clearly tried, the hotel was lacking in a big way, especially for what might be considered a luxury resort. The offerings were kind of ho-hum and the room itself was clean but a little generic and mediocre by comparative price standards. Plus, I was originally supposed to have a king, and then without... I was there for the ACCT conference in January. Excellent rooms. Staff was amazing at helping everyone find their way around and making sure that we had everything we needed the whole time we were there. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Austin area.

I was there for ACCT conference as well. When I checked in, I was told that my room had been upgraded to a suite which was very cool. One of the nicest rooms I have stayed in over the years. Very clean....I liked the way the lady who cleaned my room every day would arrange things nicely by the sink.... More

This is a really nice hotel. It's big so there's a good bit of walking. The staff is very friendly and it offers many things to do. There are a number of restaurants on site, there's a beautiful walking trail along the river. They have bikes you can borrow and it's a peaceful out of the way location.
