I was overcharged a pet fee. The page and the night clerk said it 40 dollars and they charged my card $76.95. The clerk at the counter at checkout gave me a bogus email to send to their GM. I can't get a number to call them directly. If you're traveling with pets I would stay somewhere else. I have never had a problem at La Quinta except for this one.
The room it was bad , the pipe was broken so I had water leak in my bathroom and the roof was bad , so I think they need to fix those things very soon ... also the breakfast was late and they don't have a lot thins like cafe , milk , sugar , spon , ETC .
We arrived at 10:00pm There was a dirty diaper left in the ice bucket. Which left a bad Oder in the room. My wife and kids had to wait an 30 minutes or longer for them to clean. After staff attempted to clean the room none of our key cards would work even after they reactivated them.
The first floor smelled of sewage, the garbage was over flowing in the front of the property and it was noisy. It was a good location for what we needed. The staff was not wearing face coverings, but neither were most of the guests. Possibly a common practice in College Station.
The hotel is very run down. We stayed on the fourth floor and there was an extremely heavy smell of mold and mildew as the elevator door opened. Our advertise continental breakfast consist of a muffin and coffee. The staff told me that there was a supply shortage. There’s a grocery store less than a half a mile from the hotel. They should’ve gotten the items for the advertised continental breakfast. We were giving keys to three separate rooms until they finally figured out which room we were to use. None of the keys worked. Very poorly run.
