Was a participant in a weekend retreat everything ran very smoothly. Tom and Maureen are wonderful hoteliers. Food is excellent. My only complaint which was probably a blessing internet is spotty. There is wifi in three areas, but was not able to get in my room. The scenery, mother nature can't be beat. Would definitely recommend without reservation. Try for...

Tom, Maureen and the staff at Landgrove are the best. From the second you arrive, they treat you with kindness and graciousness. The setting is beautiful and the Inn and art studio are excellent. Great place for a peaceful getaway.

Just returned from my third visit to the Landgrave Inn, where I stayed while taking an art workshop. The innkeepers are very welcoming, and I love taking art workshops here, as the quality of the instructors are fabulous, and what could be better than painting all day, and having three fabulous gourmet meals a day? It is a very comfortable...

The Landgrove Inn is a rare gem. My several stays here (from a quick weekend to a lengthy retreat) have been nothing but wonderful. The restaurant serves delicious fare that is cooked to order and the deserts are divine. Enjoying time in front of the fire on a brisk evening is a sublime experience. If you're looking for a quiet...

We live nearby and usually come here to enjoy the ambience and dinner. This particular evening was unusual in that we needed a room for the evening due to frozen pipes at home. Tom, the owner, was very accommodating and gave us a fabulous room. It was the quintessential country inn room with folk art wallpaper and artwork. Maureen, also...

When I arrived, everyone there for the oil painting workshop mentioned that the art was second only to the food. They weren't kidding! The inn is definitely not a high-end luxury experience. It is a country inn, complete with antiques and a heavily wooded bar (pay on the honor system) and lounge. The guestrooms were spotless. Bed was reasonably comfortable,...

I was at the Inn for painting workshop. The Inn is quaint and located in a lovely area - that is both peaceful and quiet. We had a very nice room on the second floor. The workshops are held in a barn that looks out on trees and a pond. All the meals are included - which is very nice...

This peaceful and beautiful place has only improved since our last visit and now boasts art and writing classes all year along with the bucolic setting and very good food. We really recommend you check out this gem now that leaf-peeping is around the corner!
