I really loved the personal touch here. Sometimes you need to go back in time to a simpler time. This is a great place to do that. The owner Doug was attentive and personal to make sure we had everything we needed. He answered every question about the house and furnishings. He cooked sausage and mushroom quiche with fruit and danish on the side. I left there feeling like I knew the people who originally built the house. And who can resist sitting on the porch swing and listening to the birds singing?
This is the second time my wife and I stayed at the Warfield House. The owners,Doug and Ken. are fantastic host. Doug is an OUTSTANDING cook and the breakfast are equal to royalty. The house is emaculate.
I took notice of the Warfield because its prices were better than the "better" hotels in the area and it has great reviews. Loved the place! It was close to where I was going, and Doug, the host, is delightful. Breakfast was yummy. Doug described it as a quiche without the cheese. This gave the filling a custard like consistency. The mushrooms come from a town less than 100 miles away and are cut fresh for Doug's order when the driver arrives. Learned that mushrooms can be even better than I thought. Definitely recommend the place and I plan to be back.
we was in Crockett for a rodeo and we decided to stay at this B&B and no regret. Warfield House is an old Victorian house, very nice and clean. The owners are friendly and caring. The breakfast was tasty, coffee and quiche and fresh fruits.
Peggy, the owner treated my daughter and I like family.awesome and great place to stay. The rooms are clean and quite. Beautiful front porch. We had our own bathroom and a great breakfast. She has a garden and hangs all the bedding outside. They smelled so fresh. Thanks again, Peggy
