My experience at Seal River Heritage Lodge with the Polar Bears was by far the best trip of my life! Being a Wildlife Photographer, it was very important to me to be able to walk out on the Tundra and shoot photos from a low position. There are no words to describe the feeling of being on the same level...

Quite simply excellent - this trip exceeded the great expectations we had for our family adventure going into the Bears, Belugas and Birds tour. It was a fantastic family trip for us and our mature teenagers. Daily and sometimes hourly very close, but safe encounters with polar bears, swimming with curious belugas and many many birds and yes throw in...

We enjoyed our trip at Seal River Lodge. We know wildlife is not always predictable but based on our research we had high hopes about seal River Lodge. Our expectations were exceeded. We sit in single seats on each side. We put on ear deafening head phone to lower the noise. It was a good flight. Upon departing the plane...

Seal River Heritage Lodge - an absolutely fantastic and unbelievable place to stay on the edge of nowhere! Having been delayed for over 24 hours due to freezing fog and an incoming/outgoing flight ban at Churchill Airport, it was a relief to arrive on a late snowy afternoon and be so warmly welcomed by our hosts Doreen and Nolan. They...

We visited in November for the Polar Bear Photo Safari and the experience we had at Seal River Heritage Lodge was unforgettable! Mike, Jeanne, and their staff showered us with exceptional hospitality. The lodge is perfect and the food is simply delicious. Derek and Andy safely guided us to some fabulous photo opportunities with the polar bears and a lone...

From start to finish all was wonderful. There was bad weather that kept our plane from landing. The next day due to prior reservations there was no room. They simply chartered a plane and all was take care of. No way to beat that service. The staff was willing to help with any requests. The food was outstanding especially given...

Seal River Heritage Lodge is over the top! Incredible wildlife viewing from the lodge and in hikes. Where else can you view polar bears, wolves and foxes up close and very personal. We always felt safe and well protected by the guides. The Lodge itself has excellent food and wine and the accommodations are very comfortable.

This was an experience of a lifetime and Mike and Jeanne (the owners) really go out of their way to make it special. The lodge is very comfortable and clean with a relaxed 'homely' feel and a roaring fire constantly burning in the lounge. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is truly amazing. I was there...

This is a truly exceptional "back-country" lodge. Heard it was the only place on earth where you could hike to see and photograph Polar Bears (and Wolves, Artic Fox, Artic Hares, Red Fox, Snowy Owls), and it was an amazing adventure. The hikes were better than expected considering the sub-artic terrain and variety of people, but everyone is there for...

We wanted to photograph polar bear and other Taiga wildlife at ground level, and had an outstanding experience. Guides were outstanding, owners and staff extremely gracious and helpful, and the wildlife? Amazing! We photographed everything from beautiful Aurora's, to Arctic fox, caribou, Ptarmigan in flight, wolf, and polar bear. Females on haunches, males sparing, mums and cubs, just beautiful. And...
