Ac in room did not work and hotel offered a fan that was returned another guest because it was too loud. No on call maintenance people so it is 3 am and I cannot sleep due to heat in room. Will never stay at a Fairfield again. Stayed here for the Cowtown marathon. Huge mistake

We selected this hotel for two reasons: 1) its location to the venue of the event we were in town for and 2) its reasonable price point. If cleanliness and location to the Ft. Worth Convention Center are your highest criteria, this hotel is for you. If transparency and communication are important, proceed with caution. Of course parking is a pain for any downtown destination, which is why I made point to check the parking information on their website. Imagine my surprise when we arrived to learn that really there is no parking at the hotel unless you pay $50 (per day) to have it valeted. They do allow you to unload at the door and then you can park your vehicle at another typical, and cheaper, parking garage a couple blocks away. We only opted to do valet because the very understanding, helpful, and generous valet attendant, Ms. Daniels, comped us for what would’ve been a second-day charge (we were staying one night and checkout is at 11a, but our event wasn’t over until noon). After the valet confusion, we proceeded inside to check in where we stood for 20 minutes until the front desk person arrived. Once he did, he provided no information apology for the wait or explanation so I couldn’t say if he was merely in the bathroom or actually helping a matter elsewhere.

Room Tip: CAUTION: $50/Day Valet is mandatory if you want your vehicle parked “at” the hotel.

My booking got cancelled because there was an issue with heating in the hotel not working. Since then, the booking went through as completed, and despite trying to contact the hotel and booking.com over twenty times, ive never recieved a single adjustment to a completed booking of $500. So the hotel tried to fob off responsibility when i literally drove half an hour to call and ask, to booking.com, but in fact this is very inaccurate and poor service, it is the hotel's responsibility to make sure the booking was actually cancelled. So be careful, i can not recommend this place, if you want not to be robbed.

Checked in and the staff were very easy to work and quite welcoming, hotel was very clean and very quiet. My room was very clean, very comfortable. The breakfast in am was hot, the typical hotel breakfast, good, nothing fancy. Huge dining space though, not confined so easy to talk to colleagues. Ton of restaurants within walking distance, streets seems safe early evening. Lots of people including families out and about. Maint and housekeeping staff I passed in hallway way were engaging and courteous. Only part that seemed weird, not bad, just odd, you have to walk from the main lobby through the bar to get to the elevators. Literally through the bar. Not a big deal, just in all my travel never seen that before.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The lovely woman at the front desk, Dani (see photo), was very welcoming, well – trained, and had an excellent customer service orientation. Nicely done Dani! Nice room, good water pressure and personal care items in the shower, along with a comfortable bed, and very user-friendly desk area. Excellent (included) breakfast with hot and cold items, and good variety. Tasty coffee also! Great location if you are needing to use the federal courthouse. Nice lobby area with the bar nearby. Good value! I enjoyed my stay!

Stayed one night. Comfortable and quiet hotel in an excellent location. Complimentary breakfast was good enough too. My biggest gripe was after travelling for a day and jet lag I left my shirt in the wardrobe. I realised as soon as I got to the next place. I contacted the hotel and they never got back to me. Rang again and they said they would contact housekeeping. I was in room 506 so either the housekeeping took it or someone who stayed in the room after me if the cleaner didn't see the shirt. I'd only wore it once. It was a horrendous Hawaiian shirt monstrosity with leaves and tigers on. That said I loved it as much as my missus hates it.

Okay I don’t do this often. Especially a negative review. But here it goes. Checked in late after the Cowboys game and dinner. No valet person was out there to get our car, so we had to park in this “will tow if you park here” area to go inside. After getting checked in, the manager was out there with the valet person to get the car. We came back down after getting in our room and getting settled. Walked outside and the valet guy was still sitting in the car with the car running where we dropped it off. Wasting the battery. Upon check-in, I was charged $160 for incidentals. Which is expected and understood. I was also charged $20 separately, which I didn’t understand but figured it had to do with valet. The next day picking up the car from valet was a hassle. Texted the number on the card they gave us and it took a whole hour to bring us the car! We checked on it 3 times and they kept saying that they had a lot of cars to bring down. The valet guy was working his ass off, so credit to him. On third time we asked about it, they said they didn’t receive our message. We said we sent it and they checked and said “oh, here it is”…5 minutes later they brought our car down. Finally, when we were waiting on the car, I asked about the $20 charge. The lady at the desk looked confused and didn’t know why it was there. But she also said I was overcharged for valet and did some adjustments on her end and said she fixed it. Right after she did that, I was charged $30.91 out of nowhere by the hotel. I asked about that and they said they do not reflect any additional charges on their end and printed me a receipt showing just the auth hold and the valet. Today on 8/16, I called the hotel to ask about the two additional charges. They claimed not to have records of those charges on their end. I contacted Marriott customer services and same response. And they sent me an invoice. So I’m having to dispute those pending charges with my bank, which is a hassle in itself. In conclusion, not a great experience staying here. Pros: great location, valet guy was doing his best, and bed was comfortable/room was clean.

Booked a room for two nights for a conference at the conference center across the street. This place is trash I would never stay there again or recommend it too any one. AC's did not work restrooms have no fans in them, the rooms smell like sewage hotel staff did not care. Don't stay here unless you want no sleep and sweat your a.. off. There is literally nothing good that I could possibly say about my experience at this Fairfield by Marriott. Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend

Not a bad hotel, but not up to Marriott downtown standards. Needs a deep cleaning and new (or removal of!) bedroom carpeting. Generally neat and superficially clean common areas, but a glass bottle was left for several days by the fire pit, and someone’s takeout leftovers stayed on a table by the elevator for 2 days. Open panel under bedside table in room 301 with wiring everywhere. Didn’t report bc didn’t want to move after unpacking. TV had dead spot; same on reporting it. Support staff seemed to be doing their best but understaffed. Manager G didn’t understand taxes; wanted to argue it with guests. Breakfast & valet staff kind, helpful.

Stayed there for a week while attending a trade show at the Convention Center. Hotel is directly across from the Arena at the Convention Center. Easy access to the rest of the building. The staff are not crack hoteliers, but they were nice enough. They encourage you to NOT have room cleaning during your stay, but will set up cleaning if you wish. Bar is open 4:30 ish to 10-ish....maybe longer if it is hopping. There is a nice second floor patio to take your drinks up to (but no service up there). Small area with drinks and snacks and a few essentials. My room and that of my colleague were mostly in good condition....though my sink drained poorly and the blackout curtains were coming off the rail. Also had a problem with the flush mechanism on my toilet that developed the last 2 days of my stay...but I totally forgot to tell the front desk staff....sometimes it would not properly seal after flushing and run forever and would take several attempts to jiggle or lightly flush the bowl to get it to seat properly. Otherwise the room was quite clean and tidy. Comfortable bedding. Decent desk chair and workspace as well as plenty of place to plug in to electric or USB. Coffee maker in the room...though how you get the coffee supplies refilled if you don't get cleaning, I am not sure. I was using my own Starbucks instant coffee sachets anyway. Fridge and microwave in room, too. Breakfast was meh....some scrambled eggs and bacon/sausage (on alternating days) maybe some reheated frozen mini quiches. Small Dannon yogurts, a pancake machine, some breads (poppy seed, marbled, coffecake) and bagels, premade harboiled eggs, some cereal or instant oatmeal, juice machine, coffee service, terrible dry prepackaged muffins. I would have no trouble staying there again for an event at the convention center.
