We have been to Fredricksburg on several occassions. The last visit we stayed here. I will rate this as an "excellent" choice. Clean rooms, great service, and a nice lite breakfast, you just cannot complain. In addition, this hotel just had some renovations completed and it is going to be great ! ! ! Let's face it, when you stay...

The good: We had a very nice experience w/ this establishment. A bit on the pricey side, but other hotels in town seemed mediocre. The hosts/owners were VERY welcoming and even walked us to our suite and offered info on local winery's & restaurants. The King suite we booked was not in the main building, rather along the creek. Felt...

We reserved a room at the former Creekside Inn, now Inn on Barons Creek with new owners, for Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday morning, there was major flooding across the Houston area and heavy rain all the way to San Antonio. I called the Creekside and explained the situation. Do you think they would allow me to reschedule? Think again....

Creekside isn't a truly "typical" B&B experience with hosts present and breakfast served piping hot off the stove, but it is also not a traditional hotel/motel setting. Bring your own fruit & bagels and enjoy them with your coffee, cozy in your room (w/fridge, coffee maker & toaster provided!). The Inn is tucked back in the trees just off the...

This was a nice motel but not a B&B. The web site managed by the owner shows customers enjoying a breakfast in a dining room. In fact, the owner is not in residence, the house is not open and the breakfast provided is a basket filled with grocery store snacks. The reservation service should point this out when you are...

Maybe my hopes were too high from reading the other reviews. Breakfast consisted of pre-packaged snacks left in a basket in our room. (Breakfast Bars, pop tarts, cheese crackers, pretzels, etc) 2 pint size orange juices in the fridge and a coffee maker to make yourself. The room was ok, beadspread and pillows were musty. Ceiling fan had a serious...

My husband has stayed at the Creekside Inn several times and after moving to Texas, he took my mother and me to stay again. The hosts are delightful, the food and accommodations are great. They make you feel more like family, yet pamper you as guests. Would not consider staying anywhere else.

Creekside Inn was awsome! We went for an anniversary getaway and we were very pleased. The breakfast was great! We were welcomed, like the staff knew us.It was close to everything downtown but yet when we were at the Inn,it felt like we were at a secluded romantic area.We will be back, again.

Creekside Inn is a great place to stay in Fredericksburg. Rooms have king-sized bed, whirlpool tub, dorm fridge and microwave, and TV & VCR. It's a great place to relax! I go there for a retreat about twice a year. Just a block off the main street, we usually park the car a the B&B, and walk everywhere we want...
